But how long until the Beta OT?
I already finished what was supposed to be the longest game of the three I bought ( Child of Light ), those other two are never going to carry me all the way to the beginning of the beta. ;-(

Yeah I really enjoy it, been listening since around e3 last year. Its a bit crazy to think they have been talking about the game for around 18 months already and it isn't out yet.

I'm playing ps+ dead space 3 while waiting for the beta. Its fun but it doesn't seem as good as 2 so far. Also I feel like the game is refusing to give me the supplies I need to make new weapons and stuff. I swear they are trying to make me pay to win. Its not gonna happen EA! Screw your dlc resources.

One of my biggest problems with that game and I had MANY problems.
At least they gave me a better version of the starting gun since I had a save file for dead space 2. I'm pretty much only using that gun at the moment.

When I ordered mine there was a "please allow 2-3 weeks" notice on the site and in the confirmation email. That was three weeks ago. I hadn't actually noticed how much time had passed until you asked.

Yeah it's a national holiday here. No work tomorrow so I'm gonna try and beat Arkham Origins this weekend.
He also links to Datto's video on Elemental Damage, which I'd think means that Datto has pretty much nailed it.

Interesting point about the elemental damage from Datto's vid. I wasn't very conscious of the shield colors but I did notice that the grenades would stun the enemies and dramatically drain their health when they were very low. I threw a Vortex Grenade at one of the Hive Acolytes underground. It walked into it, cringed, and a good 15%-25% of its health just vanished.
