I searched a bit in the thread specifically about the beta, didn't find anything. Probably should have searched this one instead, since it's sort of become the unofficial Destiny community thread until the next big thing happens.

I really hope there's some way to get whatever LE is announced with a digital version of the game. Since I plan on playing the game pretty consistently pretty much until the sequel is out I really don't want to ever have to bother with owning a disc.
Ideally I'd like to just preorder+preload the digital version on PSN and then have a box of LE stuff shipped to me, haha.

So, how did the throwing knife work, anyway? Is it like the Warlock's energy drain where you automatically use it instead of your melee when it's fully charged?
I always thought that was kind of an iffy mechanic. I wasted a bunch of energy drains in the alpha by meleeing when my grenade was already fully charged. It'd be nice if you had to hold the button down to activate it, or it it just wasn't used if your grenade is already charged.
The white PS4 and destiny bundle is $450 right? So the difference would only be $30 assuming you buy destiny as well.

There are vaults in the Tower that allow you to switch items between your characters.
In Alpha the commendations and marks for factions were shared across the characters as well... Seems like there will certainly be support for serial alt-players...

Yup, weapons can easily be switched between alts via the vault too which is really nice.

It was that way in both Pre-alpha and Alpha. Also items in your vault are shared between characters too.
