They're basically saying there's a 98% chance a new character will be revealed in this week's Famitsu... any idea? :p

The Twilight Princess focus is weird, 8 years after release and several Zelda titles later. Is there anyone that wanted Agitha (with an annoying sound bite for every attack)?

No idea why people are excited about a Dynasty Warriors clone. I guess Nintendo fans will be Nintendo fans.

I can't describe why I'm excited, and it's weird because I'm not a Dynasty Warriors fan (at all) and I'm not particularly a Nintendo fan either.

Could you sound anymore like a snob? "Why do people like this thing that I don't like?"

Do you understand how fucking stupid that question is?

"I guess Nintendo fans will be Nintendo fans." Piss off with that bullshit. It's not wanted nor needed. If you don't like the fucking game then don't bloody post in the thread then. Keep this shit to yourself.

Why does this game look better and better with each new video released? At first this cross-over seemed so odd, but now it looks absolutely amazing.

There are signs of this game benefiting from Nintendo's influence that make seem above & beyond what's standard for DW:
-Uncommon enemies & bosses are Zelda-like, requiring certain items or tactics to defeat (which can be observed in the above video)
-Team Ninja allegedly doing the bossfights instead of the usual DW staff.
-Some light puzzle/exploration elements in the environments.

It's not a huge leap I suppose but it look like they're putting actual effort into this one.

what does this have to do with Nintendo fans, when Warriors games have been a thing for years?

Never critically acclaimed, though, and for good reason, in my opinion. The whole thing tends to get old REALLY fast. Why would it be any different with this game just because now they're all characters from the LoZ universe?

Well, for starters, it's not a Dynasty Warriors clone. It's a crossover game, which in this case means "Zelda meets Dynasty Warriors", and as someone who always wanted to get into Dynasty Warriors but couldn't, this game seems like it could lead me into the world of DW.

If you don't like it, okay, whatever, but don't sound so snobby about it.

Dude, the fact that someone doesn't like a game that you like shouldn't get you this upset. People diss stuff I like all the time, but it doesn't make me mad. I'm a fan of The Big Bang Theory, and people on the internet constantly shit on that show, but it doesn't upset me. Getting this angry over criticism of a video game that you like is not healthy. You might want to look into getting some psychological counseling. The Dynasty Warriors games are poorly rated by critics and are frequently insulted by Gaffers, and yet this Nintendo game, which looks very similar to Dynasty Warriors, is constantly being praised. Doesn't this strike you as odd? You don't think anyone should be allowed to even comment of the fact that a game that's a clone of one of the most hated franchises ever is being praised to heaven? But if you can't handle someone making a mild diss of a video game that you like, you really shouldn't be on the internet. Seriously, get counseling.

Not getting bent out of shape about anything. I'm just saying asking about why people are excited about something you clearly don't like, and then adding that snooty comment afterwards is dumb.

The funny thing is you already know why people are excited about it.

they created like a dozen of these games someone buys them, and Zelda being taken a different direction does not hurt it

This series to me is like Japan's COD but sells like crap, maybe putting some Zelda in there can help

it may not be your type of game but there are plenty of other game threads that you can express your pleasure at that someone else may not find so great. I'm just saying some people may like this stuff even if you don't. It is not crazy or stupid to like something others may find boring.

I'm not a big Musou fan I purchased one and played it did not like it so much but I like Team Ninja so I am willing to give it another go

One of the most hated franchises ever?

This is the part where I suggest you receive medical attention for your mental disorder.

I'm actually looking forward to it and I don't care about DW games. Only one I played since 2 or 3 on the PS2 has been one of the ones on the Vita (from PS+) and it's kinda boring but from the trailers they've shown of this combat looks more fun. There seem to be more moves and cooler looking things happening and as it's a game in the Zelda universe (that seems to be pulling characters from across the franchise) you can bet the story will be more entertaining than the yellow turban rebellion for the fiftieth time.
