Destiny: Ghost Edition revealed [Collector's]

So, from the descriptions we have available it sounds like the Digital Edition has extras that the others don't? I'm a little confused and would like more information,

I've bought a few games from Amazon.de, and I live in the UK. Was painless. You might get German packaging, though. The game will run in English (it'll be multi language) and the DLC will be fine as we count as the same region.
 
So I wanted the ghost edition so bad but at first I hear it is exclusive to those thiefs on the high street and they want to charge £150

It is times like this I would just love for them to go bust, I know it would mean 1000s of job losses which is not cool, but they need to go bust, all they ever do is rip people off, why did they not make it exclusive to amazon

well they went bust once it's how I lost my job there just a shame it would have left a major gap in the market which is how they got saved.

just shows you the company learned nothing.

Do you work for them? because you are doing a very good job of convincing me to try them out again, its been about a year since i went in...no tell a lie i went in about 6 months ago for pokemon rumble NFC figures because they were the only place stocking them, and they did have a more 'Gamestationy' vibe than the fairly hospital/clinic vibe GAME developed.......

Did not know the old Gamestation CEO was in charge....That might explain a turn around in them

dependent on price i could be ordering that Destiny GHOST CE from them

EDIT HOLY CRAP that GAME price is diabolical! why do we always pay about 50% more than the rest of the world? out Tax/VAT is only 20% who do they have doing their maths a 4 year old?

Yes indeed and job losses are the worst part of that, I do not want anyone to lose any jobs but they deserve to go bust or the entire company needs new owners and managers and stuff like that, whoever is in charge of pricing needs to be replaced first

Does anyone know if the other limited edition will be exclusive to them too? Or just the ghost edition is exclusive?

It sounds like it has the same in-game content as the physical editions; the ghost casing, emblem, and ship skin, and the expansion pass. It only mentions the "Vanguard Armory and Player Emblem pre-order bonus" because you'd normally get that from the retailer, but for the digital version it's included with the download.

PS4 Ghost Edition preordered! It's value is in the eye of the consumer and it's actually what I wanted out of the CE :)

Edit: It seems like the PS4 CE version is sold out on amazon.

What are the chances that it's an error on their end? Holy moly.
 
Anyone know where else in the US online I can preorder the ghost edition for PS4? Just saw all of this to realize that Amazon has been cleared out, and Gamestop has non day one shipping if I understand correctly. :(
 
Wait, Ghost Edition exclusive to PS4 for now in amazon?

When you select the ghost edition on Xbone it says not available and not sold out like the PS4 one.

it's cheaper on amazon (like things normally are) if that;s any good? saddens me why companies still give exclusive rights to collectors editions to retailers especially GAME
 
Ugh, and there goes my dream of a digital only generation. I guess disc is better anyways, can trade in afterwards and also get sale prices.

Now just waiting for Amazon.ca to put it up
 
Really looking forward to the game but 150 quid for that? Insane. I only ever use GAME for CEX price match trade-ins. Their prices are laughable.

I'm tempted to get the LE but I already have the vanilla edition pre-ordered from Tesco and they take money up front. It might be worth it for the expansions though.

Is the expansion pass those two expansions for free?
 
I didn't think I'd buy another Collectors/Limited edition but after taking a look at some of the pack-ins, I just preordered the LE; no regrets. Manuals, art books, and steel cases always make me happy but I like that the Expansion Pass is included in this as well and given that it's going to be $35 by itself, that's like buying the base game, expansion pass, and paying only $5 extra for all the physical goods, which sounded good to me.

T-minus 10 more days until the Beta :)

Just ordered from the limited edition from amazon.co.uk £87.99.

They offer a price promise guarantee to match any lower price before release so may and up being a little cheaper.

It's worth it just for the DLC TBH as i'd have been paying £60 from GAME for the standard edition.

As nice as the LE looks, even that is too expensive, it's twice the price of the game itself for some DLC and nicer packaging. The GAME price of £95 is creeping up towards CE prices, not a good thing.

I'm not sure what the two of those expansions would cost alone. The steelbook and collectors toot puts it up to £60 and the DLC pass does the rest.

I'd pre-ordered from GAME in store for the BETA code before I found out the price (3 months ago). Rest assured I'll be cancelling my pre-order tomorrow. Hopefully I'll end up with a spare BETA code out of it.
