Ah, that sucks. I used that extension myself. I'm guessing the ban is probably fallout from the drama last week or something like that.

Anyways, no way to know for sure I guess.
I would imagine we would have seen nothing from Ryan during all that. He was outspoken yeah, but smart enough to not create more problems for Jeff to deal with. Plus it was his comment that leaked about Leigh which is no doubt the reason why she now calls out GB (not just the community) during every internet harassment drama. I doubt Ryan would want anyone else gunning for GB.

I was wondering the same thing about Ryan during the backlash to the E3 liveshows. He never really talked about how much (if any) thought he put into the diversity of the guests.

Of course the people in the control room are going to pay more attention to the game. They don't have to play or make conversation. Their only job at that moment is to wztch the quicklook and make sure the feed is good.
I wonder if a QL on Monday is due to Jason staying behind while they record the podcast, it would make sense him not being a regular.

I have a feeling the Monday Quick Look is solely because Jason has not fully learned how to use the GB CMS, and published the Quick Look by accident instead of scheduling it for the usual time. It is almost common place that GB gets up 2 QL on Tuesday, but looking at today's lineup, the 2PM (my local time) is still there, but the usual 5PM (my local time) one is not there. All signs point to Contraption Maker getting uploaded ealy by accident - it was supposed to be the late QL today

I think this is more likely. Previously, Drew would have to edit and process the QLs simultaneously. Now, with Jason, they can do them in parallel.
I really doubt GB likes having Monday be a wasteland in terms of content. I think they'd rather have a new QL on Monday and a new QL on Tuesday rather than nothing on Monday and 2 on Tuesday.
Or maybe the promise of content from both other GB divisions this week means they can afford to give us something on Monday.
(am I imagining things or did Patrick say he'd be doing something with Lang this week?)
Unless the file is screwed up, I imagine there is less editing to be done. I think it is more that someone babysitting the encoder and what gets spit out is a benefit.
Could be. I would think they would rather spread two over two days but no real way to know.

Also they soft delete any really offensive posts so that general users can't see them. something that I would rather they didn't do. So no real way of knowing what he was banned for. They also sometimes PM you with a warning so he could well have mouthed off then. I remember years ago being warned for some really petty shit and had a sarcastic reply ready to go but cool heads prevailed.
Rorie alluded to them previously being reluctant to ban "valuable" members or paying members in the past but after last weeks mess they are cracking down on their forums. They could probably do with a temp ban but I think it is permaban or nothing over there.

Not really. Vinny was half production half editorial. They've added one full time producer and one editor. It's a net gain.
I'm not saying our cups will runneth over with content, but GB West is up to a more reasonable size now.

Vinny had to split his time between being in videos and doing video production work. He was basically having to fill both Dan and Jason's jobs at the same time. An extra editor means that now there's 2 video producers in the control room rather than just Drew since Vinny was required for Quick Looks and other content, otherwise it would have been 100% Jeff/Brad.

They will need to show a lot more content when East is up and running - if only to justify the new hires to CBS.

Yeah, a new Premium feature would be cool! Been a good while since there's been a regular Premium video feature that isn't UPF.
