Finally reunited with another Vita again!! <3

Downloading Spelunkin and All Star Racing already, with a bunch of other PSN+ offers.

IThey should have added money until Square Enix plan had changed. They didn't, which is a shame. I'm sure Type-0 at launch + Uncharted: Golden Abyss delay in order to get a U2-like multiplayer would have done wonders for the system.

They shouldn't have allowed Capcom to launch Resident Evil: Revelations exclusively on 3DS either, but I guess Capcom was just too far gone.

So VitaGAF, what are your thoughts on Shinobido 2? From what I've gathered from reviews, it seems like enough of a diamond in the rough to be worth taking a chance on when it's as cheap as it currently is in the EU Japan sale. But I am curious to hear your thoughts.

I played it at launch, and got bored of it really fast. It reuses the same stages, and wasn't that fun to begin with so I just lost interest. Don't remember a lot from it though.

Damn this Persona 2&3 deal for Vita... Damn it to hell. I promised myself I would play P3:FES and not portable one.

Somebody please stop me

Tell me how it should be played on comfy couch and a big screen
Personally speaking, P3P is shit and I wouldn't waste digital space with it even if it was free.

Same here. Had one before and got rid of it. But, since I bought a PS4 at launch I've just been watching all those free Vita games add up every month so I bought another. I can't believe how many games I have to download. Good thing I got a 64 gig card.

Out of all the countries... Buy a retail copy from a nearby country.

Yeah... EA still holds the exclusive Bundesliga License for Manager games until 2015. I hope SEGA will get the license afterwards since EA doesn't plan to produce any manager games anymore.
Actually planning to import a copy once I find a good deal.

While P3:FES is undeniably the best looking/sounding of Persona 3, P3P is the best playing version of the game hands down :D.

Between gameplay improvements lifted from Persona 4, the "health" system being easier to deal with, the FM Main Character adding much to the game, new Social Links to use, and the fact its the only version playable on Vita (trust me, the game feels great on the system :D) all makes it a great buy :).

I also got FES when it was 4 bucks last month and while its gameplay systems are a bit frustrating, they are manageable and the story/cut-scenes are better in that version. Plus, you also have 'The Answer' content included in FES (which is more-or-less a sudo-P3 sequel).

Both are wonderful games, so have fun with them :D.

I'm assuming it will probably be Phantasy Star Portable 3 made out of PSO2. The games are pretty different than "hunter-style" titles like Toukiden.

So... I'm really wanting a good pirate experience right now, but I've been waiting on AC4 until I get a PS4 (I have a PS3 now). Should I keep waiting? Or is the PS3 version good enough? Is there another pirate game I should try out on the Vita or PS3?

Oof.
Phantasy Star Online 2 PC at a rock-solid 60 fps and fantastic image quality has spoiled me.

Times like this I actually want a new singleplayer Phantasy Star RPG.
Maybe a sci-fi dungeon crawler.

Just finished up Atelier Rorona Plus for PS3, pretty solid game. I would highly recommend playing it if you like more of a harvest moon type of RPG and crafting lots of crafting.

I have the Nyko one with the built in battery, I personally think it's fantastic.

Nothing you can do about party member's weakness. You can give them evade though or get their social link to rank 10 and they get triple evade against their weakness.

On Boosting elements, that is up to you. I'm not sure if it stacks with Amp skill on that party member. I know amp and element boost works on those you choose to learn it.

On critical buffs. I looked this up about how viable apt pupil is. If you got an aoe physical skill, crit is 5%. Apt pupil only multiplies it by 1.5 so you would only get 7.5% to crit. If you gotten Primal Force which has a 25% to crit, that would give you 37.5% with apt pupil. Single target skills have a higher base crit chance. Hmm, on the page it says it doubles the crit chance. I remember it was 1.50 multiplier.

I never used Revolution too much. Heat Riser and Debilitate were the skills I used.

On accessories, that is up to you.
Yep, counter doesn't stack. Just get High Counter.

To relearn old skills or new skills, take them out on a bike ride. Yukiko is devastating if you get her to learn Mind Charge. Even the MC can't compare to the damage she does as a fire user.

Naoto can learn Bufudyne and Ziodyne which makes her flexible.

You can either get the MC to absorb or repel elements or use a combination of Angelic Grace and Ali Dance to deal with enemies hitting you.
Also get Victory Cry if one of your personas has it. You'll never run out of SP again unless its a really long fight
.

thanks zero and thanks RalchAC for the various contributions

hmm I guess I really shouldn't waste slots having both boost and amp together :/
- so Kanji should keep Vile Assault for now

for Angelic Grace and Ali Dance, they only work if my MC equips that persona right? doesn't apply if it's just in the list of personas I bring along? I suppose that's for Victory Cry as well?

and I guess skills like Invigorate, Growth are useless in the end-game region?

The problem with patapon is that I don't think they know how to further evolve the gameplay mechanics.
Oh no, obviously. Of course. But I don't give a shit. Re-make Patapon 2, charge $20 like you usually do, make me happy.

Stuck on Muramasa......My forged blades wont show up across stories ie. swords I forged in the guys story dont show up in the girls so i cant access all of the forged swords....so how do I access swords that require forging in both stories?

They took out in 3, what made 1 & 2 so charming. Instead of having an whole army they reduced it to 4 super chumps.

They could put in more platforming in it, like verticality.

Finally applied a screen protector on my Vita.
A tiny scratch that is fortunately only visible in an angle I usually never hold the Vita made me paranoid. I only use my Vita at home, no idea where the scratch came from. I still have one of the OLED models and want to keep it in the best condition.
I got the one from Hori that says it's easy to apply. It was indeed easy, but still took me over an hour until everything was done. So many tiny dust particles in the air always reappearing on the screen after cleaning, so I had a hard time to keep the screen perfectly clean and for some reason I ended up with lots of dust along under the upper edge of the protector. Cleaning that up took most of the time.

I'm glad I did this. I have my Vita since launch but only used it occasionally but lately it became my favourite system for many games, including multiplatform that I would usually play on PC. Playing Child of Light right now and love it. Looks wonderful on the Vita. And playing on my bed is just so comfortable. The great sales on EU PSN recently helped as well. And the 64GB card is already on the way :)
