I don't think console exclusive is nearly as clear as you guys seem to think it is. Obviously, I understand the term, but I follow this stuff, so of course I know it. "console exclusive", to someone who has never seen the term could mean "exclusive to consoles", just as "PS4 exclusive" means it's exclusive to the PS4.
Okay, so in general parlance it's used as "console exclusive on the PS4", but that's not necessarily any better, and it's no shorter than just saying "it's coming to PS4 and PC". I'm not sure it's deceptive, but I do think that both MS and Sony are very interested in shoving the term "exclusive" into anything they can, and it does end up confusing people. A lot of people were confused about No Man's Sky after the Sony press conference, for instance.
To be clear, it's better than when they say "launching exclusively on ...", which is a terrible way to talk about something that will eventually come to all platforms.
