So when they say "ad hoc" for Minecraft... Does that include Cross Platform between 3DS and Vita? That's like the one thing that would make it better.

So guys, a few questions about PS4:
1. Is it true that even with disc, it is still required to perform a full install on the HDD if you want to play a game?
2. Related to question above--if it's a yes--how much space is available for game installation?
3. Can we replace the PS4's hard-disk with third party HDD? Internal, external?

When was Minecraft for 3DS announced?
Ad-hoc is loca co-op handheld style. 4 people in the same room with their consoles, playing a no online based multiplayer.

That's awesome that Skullgirls is coming to Vita, i've been putting off buying the PS3 version due to the high price and me not playing it much anymore so i'll probably grab it on Vita/PS4.
Yeah I'll probably just grab it on PC rather than waiting.
I'm wondering the same thing myself so I could import to avoid paying extra for retail and DLC here ($130 if I grab the edition that comes with the expansions)
Gamefaqs user one is pretty good, you get boxarts and a list to search from (of all the games listed on the site, although they are missing some) so I find it easy to use and compile/add games.
I suppose I can understand if they're trying to keep old viewers interested in the new anime but yeah that is ridiculously over the top.
Since this topic has quite a lot of active Vita owners, I suppose it might be a good place to ask a question?
I own a macbook, and transferring music (not even bothered with other files) is an absolute ass - through cable it randomly disconnects anytime there's a lot of music to load (and come on, it is my entire musci library) or when I try to copy a playlist - which is the ONLY way to transfer different music, fast because selecting single songs is a nightmare.
Normally I wouldn't care but I prepared an amazing playlist for Wipeout 2048 sessions since the original music is awful.
Is there a sneaky third party app for macs to transfer the music directly onto a memory card? Or some way to tweak it?

The annoying thing is I've found a ton of conflicting statements about it working or not. I think the best people to say are those who picked up BF4 or Watch_Dogs and DLC from the US store and whether they got it all working on a UK account.

No as in no it supports it or no as in no it doesn't support it?
Usually the sofa because I like my comfy couch gaming, occasionally though on my computer table due to the PS4 being there and me doing co-op from time to time with my Vita on it.
Yeah. It's tough to get a straight answer for stuff like this unless you have a firsthand experience of it or someone who has done it.

It supports suspend and resume of downloads. It doesn't support suspend and resume of gameplay which I think you've confused it with.

4. You can't manually pause/resume (yet). But if you for example shut down your PS4, it will pick up the download where you left it the next time you boot up (or in stand-by, if you choose so).
Tried it. My watch later list is still causes the app to crash.
Edit:
I just did a fresh install of the app and tried watching another video. All well and good until I pressed circle to exit the current video and then it crashed again. This is all perculiar behaviour because aside from playing games I'm often using the YouTube app for long lets plays and it isn't usually this finicky.
As to your question I've never experienced anything of that nature.

Do you ever get occasional stutter during videos? It's not a buffering issue, usually the video is fully loaded for me but they still stutter occasionally as though it can't cope with the video.

Just to clarify the answers - the new consoles don't support playing-directly-from-discs at all.Laughing Banana said:
Install isn't "required" - it's part of running-the game. Games also support play while installing, so the time to start a disc is pretty minimal with those I've tried to date.

ehhhh...the system automatically can suspend and resume downloads, but you cannot manually pause or resume a download

Flash sale announced on the BR PSN (20 games for BRL 2,49 = ~1,12 USD), maybe US will get something too.
It's not live yet, tho - they just annouced it on facebook, but the link to the sale is broken and they're being cursed and blamed as of now. Of course it's not live, it's a "this weenked only" thing.

It is how I would imagine a level 99 Izanagi with max stats and Maziodyne. That however does not justify the over the top-ness.
I normally prefer Jap VO but Rise's Japanese voice is really annoying imo. Laura Bailey did a great job in the dubbed version.

Aye, Brazil. Usually, when there's a sale on the US PSN, there's one on the BR one too (actually, I don't remember sales exclusive to one of those stores on the past year).
Maybe someone could check the US Playstation facebook page and see if there's a sale banner there too. Can't check it right now because I'm "filtered" to the BR one by default on mobile.

I don't see anything, but I also don't know if I'm in the right place. I wouldn't be surprised of nothing shows up on the Facebook page until after it goes up on the blog or even until it's live.
I bought it recently and whilst I haven't played previous entries and therefore comment on the gameplay too much (seems to have depth to its control system), on a technical level it's a quality port.
Edit: Did we already talk about Skeleton Rider on Vita yet? Seems like it came out of nowhere.
Edit Edit: Or The Swapper being $22:95 AUD on launch?

So, against my better judgement, I went to Gamestop this morning to pick up a 2000, figuring that since they still had the boxes for the BL2 bundle (Bundlelands?) out, I would be able to get one.

Also what is up with Sony not restocking the Vita? Could they have been genuinely caught off guard by the demand for the BL2 bundle?
