The announcement of the reveal, and not the surprise by itself, makes me think that this character's going to be big.
Out of the leaked left, I don't think any of those justify the hype building honestly.

There's no way it's Takamaru. Not ruling him out entirely but I'm pretty sure for a worldwide livestream you'll want a character all audiences can probably recognise i.e Chrom or Shulk.
