OK. For PS4 clarification:

Pre-order the title. It will start downloading the beta.

Then go into: Settings -> PSN -> Account Information -> Wallet

Select: Transaction History.

Select: Next

You should see a Product Purchase in the amount of UK/Euro 0.00 from the date you preordered. Click on that Purchase entry

Select: Cancel Pre-order

That means you'll be able to download the Beta, and also ensure that the preorder is cancelled.

This friend is a Bungie employee though (still need to get her back for getting me into the alpha early,) so they likely have a server whitelist right now with just Bungie PSN/XBL accounts.

Not surprising. The servers tend to be up well in advance for employees and press to get time in on them for stories they're releasing when launch day hits. Then combine with Friends and family and yea. Hell take alpha for example. As people noted it was up over a week or two before the public even knew it existed. Then hell nobody even knew the pre-alpha existed till some folks got wise to it. Course it helped that it wasn't labeled as Destiny. lol

I have a gift for you for those who seek it, for those who wonder about it, for those who needs it. If you follow the steps below as how I've written it, you will be able to own a part of Destiny ahead of those random guardians who lacks the dedication.

Steps to own a piece of greatness:

1) Get yourself a european PSN account (Skip this, if you have one)
2) Go to the PSN Store and search for Destiny
3) Pre-order the game (for some fantastic reason, EU PSN doesn't require you to pay up front)
4) Download it if, it does not download itself (skip the step below, if you're downloading from your main account)
5) To open this application on your 'Main' account, go to Settings > PSN > Activate as primary PS4.

A lot of things are shared such as player models, textures, music, menus, code, etc. no matter how much of the levels and game modes are included in the Alpha/Beta.

Is the beta reward tied to your bungie.net profile? If so, then it'll be active on whichever PSN account you linked on bungie.net

If it's actual downloadable DLC then all accounts can use it.
