Hey all NeoGAF members. If you could please hold off on your request for about 5 hours. I will finish going through all the list.

Hey guys, thank you for sticking it out with us through this restriction. The admins here have done a great job in weeding out the lurkers. Now the restriction will be lifted. So admins, you are free to go back and do your jobs in accepting NeoGAF members.
But please be very careful from now on.
There will also be some minor changes to the rules.

I know people have been PM admins privately on here and on Bungie.net to request to join. Because some people do not wanna display their PSN or Xbox ID on GAF publicly. Which is understandable. But from now on, You will not need to put your PSN ID. All we need for you to join is to give us your Bungie ID.
To make thing easier, it is now REQUIRED. For all past and current members to change their Bungie ID to match their NeoGAF ID.
For example my bungie ID is ShadownetX, which I will shortly change into Shadownet to match my NeoGAF ID. This way will prevent a lot of confusion to who is who. It also will help those who wishes to keep their PSN ID/XBOX ID private.
So admins, if any GAF member message you privately, requesting to join. Please tell them to go through this thread. Because there is no need for them to give you their PSN/XBOX ID anymore. They just need to match up their Bungie ID and NEOGAF ID together, and tell you what it is.

Please read the OP on this thread.
But to make your life a bit easier.
Go to the link I posted, and Hover the mouse over your name. Go to settings and change your "Bungie Display Name" to match your Neogaf ID. then go back to the group page and click join.
Then go back to this thread and post your Bungie ID. once one of the admins confirm your identity. You will be accepted.
Sorry, I think my confusion stemmed from not knowing that I had already been accepted. I checked my groups/memberships, and it lists Destiny GAF. Thanks for your help.

So apparently when I switched my Bungie display name back to its original, I somehow got dropped from the clan. Bungie display name needs to remain the same as NeoGAF username permanently?
Yes please keep it as your NeoGAF name until further notice. Bungie.net is going through some major changes soon. So hopefully we can implement a better system then. But for now, your Bungie ID need to be the same as your NeoGAF name.
