Not German, but Germany has been my team since that game. Great to see them win again after so many years of consistent effort. Congrats to GermanGAF!

I really want to start following football leagues now that this World Cup is over. What leagues exist? Where do I start? What about American and European leagues, specifically? Where can I watch?

I honestly thought Germany was gonna steamroll through them. Turned out to be a great game.
Germany only steamrolled when the other team left the field after 10 min of the match.

That also means they were the most consistent team and nobody can honestly say they are undeserved winners.

Messi is master of bottling it for the national team. Still one of the greats but a Maradona, Zizou, Pele he is not.

To be honest Messi was pretty good. Even against Holland he did make some good passes. Pretty good but not great win the WC with your performance in the match counts against him but Argentinians should blame more their strikers.

English Premiere League and MLS will probably be your best bets since American networks carry them.

Referee this match was SO MUCH better than referee last match, even if he made some serious mistakes.

Pretty good, even if disappointed. We played a good match and made some key mistakes and substitution choices.

What we didn't do was run around like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off like your piece of shit team. Germany deserves this cup, but they don't deserve you hanger-ons. Go enjoy fourth place.

Major League Soccer is on its regular season right now. Seattle vs. Portland is tonight on espn2.

Premier league will be on nbcsports this fall.

There's a Football GAF in the community section you can check out.

In the USA there's the Major League Soccer, other popular leagues in Europe include Barclay's Premier League, La Liga and Bundesliga.
