If you didn't catch it I also suggest watching Dan and Jeff playing that Hello Kitty game. It got really intense.

I DID see that part, it was fantastic. Dan gets really, realllly, REALLY into video games.

That was so good, Dan got really intense.

Was there Yoshi talk? I heard someone mention it but I only caught parts of the stream.

Light yoshi talk. Didn't get too confrontational unfortunately.

Patrick's from Chicago, so.. easy pickings..

That is a tasteless and offensive thing to say about Chicagoans. I demand an apology.

Speaking of Jason, it'd be pretty cool to see something like a Dan, Jeff and Jason combo where they go back and play some old fighting games and talk about the game's history and development (if they could find anything on it). They could do everything from niche Japanese fighting games, to old wrestling games.

Sounds like a good UPF: GB Fight Night

You know what would be a good UPF game/series? Bad Company 1 or 2. I'd love to see Jeff revisit that series. Bad Company was one of the first games GB reviewed, it'd make sense to revisit it before the servers shut down for good.

Bad Company demo was the best. I don't know why I never picked up the full game. Got my fill with 1943, at least.

I think it'd make for a terrible video series, though, sorry. :p

Maybe if TNT was still around, but i think the servers are probably dead enough by this point that it would not make for a good segment on UPF.

So there's no way I can watch the Phantasmagoria videos? Tried just going through the subscriber content but it stops way before the Phantasmagoria videos.

With Dan playing Tamodachi Life i hope we see a return to the game on one of the livestreams. We won't have Female Rorie, but i bet Dan is the type to import really insane people into his game.

Kind of took a hiatus from giantbomb since Vinny moved and got up to the Sniper Elite III quick look and I can not believe that Dan didn't know about Africa in WWII. It is so incredibly sad that people can go through life not knowing this. Crazy how someone as old as him doesn't know.

Can't believe Gran from GiantHorse .ru cut the top off of his ketchup bottle. I am demanding a refund from Grorie right now. Not sure why all these Russian names start with "Gr" either. That's not really even a stereotype I've ever heard of.

I didn't know, actually. There's lots of things I don't know. You could fill like three books with things I don't know.

Wait unit you hear who's the new hire. Gonorrhea.

Everyone is ignorant in numerous things but something as not knowing a large part of the largest conflict in the 20th century is sad from the point that things as large as that could be lost to history.

On one hand GB now has more people I can feel superior over, but then again there's more people that do not validate my interests. It's a double edged aluminum bat, this life we live.

There's a certain level of shit that's basic knowledge... WWII is a part of a rudimentary HS education.

Even beyond that, there's the whole George Patton thing.

.
I don't know how things are now, but most history teachers glided over military topics when I was in school. WWII for me was the causes, the soldier and homefront perspective, and the aftermath. The teachers usually said that it was not interesting to teach the campaigns to a bunch of uninterested kids.

Hmm, maybe I shouldn't be skipping all those cut scenes in Sniper Elite 3 then.

Hah, you're suggesting that most people actually learned anything in high school.

Africas involvment in WW2 was never once mentioned in any of my high school history classes.

(currently JR in Uni, so i have a good memory of HS history)

You must have lived in Mississippi then because even the 49th-ranked Georgia public schools cover George Patton.

And, technically, it's not really African involvement as it was Axis and Allied powers engaging within North Africa. Within /= by
