I resisted for a while but went ahead and did the EU pre-order way of getting the Beta downloaded early.

Trust me. Its gonna be such a relief knowing you'r all good to go once it launces.
I know i would be going mad having to dld it while its up. Waste of such precious game time.
I really like the Destiny music tbh, but I'm not one to turn off or listen to my own music during gameplay anyway.
If I were to put on Grimes during some exploration it'd probably ruin my immersion.
Having said that, choice is great for everyone and it's better to have options than not.

The music really adds to the immersion IMO. It just goes so well with the whole world. Def adds to the immersion for me.

But we're talking about multiplayer PvP, which in most games typically didn't have music until CoD started adding subtle music when the timer was running out etc. Now it seems in Destiny that the score plays throughout matches, which is quite jarring for those of us who usually put on our own tunes in PvP.
No word of this yet, if ever. Safe to assume that you can't do this yet, but I don't see why they can't let you later down the line.

My bad, thought the discussion was on the SP. I'm not much of a PvP MP gamer (though I was completely hooked on TLOU), so this is the first time I'm hearing of being able to listen to your own music. Is it possible for any PS4 games so far? And how exactly do you incorporate it into the game (via musicunlimited app? or something)

Even if the whole sound/music experience is perfect, it still doesn't justify not giving the player the option to turn the music off or whatever. It's just a strange quirk we're stuck with for now.

I don't have a PS4 yet but I feed my iPod or iPhone to my TV speakers and have the game audio coming out of my surround sound speakers.
Much easier to control your playlist natively rather than through a game console interface while you're trying to play a game

I've already decided that i'm going to be a Warlock when playing with my friends but I'm still decided whether i want to roll a hunter or titan for solo play and everytime i see cool armors for either class it just makes it that much more difficult. T.T

Because mine's factoring in the time that it'll take to download the beta client, for people who can't pre-load. Dax am cry, with her terribad Internet connection.
