This is how I feel about Lucina and Palutena. Their faces don't have any animation. They just hang there, they look really bad. Maybe it's a work in progress, I could imagine maybe that kind of thing would be done last, but right now this is not at all what I would expect from a game that looks as good as it does otherwise.

Even female Robin isn't great. But Lucina and Palutena are ESPECIALLY bad.

Edit: I think everyone's renders look great though.

I hope we don't get any Pokemon clones. Lucina as a Marth clone is fine because she's popular, it makes sense for her to be a clone based on her role in Awakening, and we got Robin to supplement.

Clone Pokemon was and is a lame idea. There are so many different Pokemon of so many different types that getting a clone would be a disservice to the franchise. Until all 18 types are filled, I'd rather not see any doubling up, let alone having a clone.

Due to recent reveals I have decided to finish my replaytrhough of FEA

I remembered that anna is actually the worst, thank god she isn't in smash.

so do we think the netcode will be good this time? seeing how online shapes up will determine whether i buy a u (and smash) or not.
 
All the FE love in this thread is making me want to jump into the series and give Awakening a try... it just feels like it's not for me but what do I know?

I have faith that they will make it an enjoyable experience this time; they've acknowledged how Brawl failed in the sector too.

it's like everyone forgot about the support/TeamUp thing in FE:A was i the only guy that left chrom attached as robin's wingman? it's a smart way to implement that game's gimmick, by using it as a final smash and Robin is the main character in Awakening far more than Chrom

edit: and this thread has turned into a circus but I'm really interested to see a better look at robin's moves tbh.

Well, Awakening was A LOT of people's first Fire Emblem, including mine. Just because you've never been interested in the series before doesn't mean this one won't hook you like it did me and so many others. I never thought I would like Fire Emblem, but it's really a fantastic experience.

People will bicker that it's not the best Fire Emblem, but it's definitely the most accessible. There are a lot of really addicting qualities to the gameplay that aren't in any other Fire Emblems and that makes all the difference. Maybe you'll skill collect on all your characters, maybe you'll breed perfect children, maybe you'll unlock every support conversation (you should), or maybe you'll just play it for the strategy. But it feels like it's got something for people who never thought they'd like Fire Emblem and the sales support that.
