I think Amiami gives you a few chances to cancel, especially if you have a good history with them. But yeah, preordering shouldn't be something you do on a whim with them.

Speaking of GG Xrd anyone expecting an insane fast game like AC was don't it's a lot slower than that now. It's some where between GGX and GGX2 speeds unless you are playing chipp or millia.
It's still really fun and I'm super hype for it, but I can see why BB is still bigger than it right now in Japan.

What are they gonna do with it, though? Sure they have the models they use for tracing but I don't think they can simply transfer them to the engine used in Xrd.

Yeah they do. He'd be a lot more popular if you didn't need a degree to start playing him. Having been down this road, it's just not a fun time learning all of that and being bottom tier. Once you get over the hump the character is an absolute blast but man the initial learning curve is absolute hell.

I have only ever seen tsundere used in FGW threads. I've literally never heard the word spoken or typed or used in the million academic journals i've read in my life other than in these threads.
i hope Xrd isnt the KOF XII of gear but whatever +R is amazing im fine continuing to play that.
i heard a lot more people played bridget in #R but yeah since he was pretty awful in AC (well he had some good stuff but his damage didnt really hold up to the rest of the cast) there have been very few. hes better now though, and Ruu is still killing it.

I was always under the impression that the bigger issue with uptake to Xrd was that it was too similar to the older GG games, to the point where players who don't have GG experience just get rolled on by veterans, even from day one. Learning fighting games in Japanese arcades can get very expensive very quick when you keep collecting Ls from much better players. I suspect that it'll be less of an issue with the US release, as the cost factor is gone and the matchmaking should keep the skill levels close (assuming the game's matchmaking works right).

Nah, it's still an amazing game. It's just best to pretend AC never existed if you want to get into it. It's more of a sequel to Reload than a follow up to AC
