I'd appreciate if you leave out your ethnocentric commentary and stick to topics relating to Smash Bros.
Irony is the only Smash discussion going on is in response to the topic I started about possible new female characters in Smash, lol

there's nothing "ethnocentric," relax

Sami from Advance Wars, or also from Advance Wars there's Lin, but Andy & Will respectively have a better chance.

Still think Dixie has a really, really good chance, actually, as a hidden DK rep, so probably not revealed before release.

She's a she in every version. The circumstances are a little different in the English version because of censorship.

It's a little more complicated than that. In the Japanese version, Vivian is described as "one of the Shadow Trio, Vivian appears to be a girl but is really a boy," and Goombella says, "that's Vivian. Of the Shadow Trio, she's the youngest sister... er, brother." But then, at the end, apparently Beldam and Marilyn start identifying her as female. The English version eliminates all the back-and-forth and just says she's female throughout.

Lore too complex.

Regardless of whether of not she may be hiding a penis, if she identifies as female, then it's proper to regard her as female either way.
Of course. I'm just saying that in the English version, there's nothing to suggest such a backstory, so to me, she's mentally and physically female.

Give Famicom Detective Club a try if you can. The second game was fan-translated a long time ago by the same guy who translated Mother 3. Good times.

omg I didnt know that, how come he didnt do the first game? And also did anyone else translate the first game

Changed my post, because I didn't realise identifying oneself as another gender was Transgendered.
Yeah, the terminology is still not really common knowledge. I don't think many people realize the distinction between being one gender physically, another mentally, etc., and the proper terminology for each combination. I'm not sure I have the terms right myself.
