Found this on facebook.

Wait, so if robin uses his up b too much, he loses the ability to use it to recover?

Yeah, there's got to be a recharge on that.

I think he loses the green slashes that are thrown downward, or rather the offensive component to the recover ability. Thus the recover itself will stay. That's how I'm taking it anyway.

Arcfire sounds a lot like PK Fire, lol
You know what that means

Ness is cut

Lucas is cutt

And Sakurai collects and burns every last copy of Mother 1, 2 and 3 while spreading Nazi propaganda and unwittingly autographing Indiana Jones' notebook on the Holy Grail

Nosferatu would be pretty useless though if the tomes recharge only when you die: you get your health back to do what, if you have no worthy attacks left?

Nosferatu is a move you'd use to stay at low health early-stock so you can keep up close to the opponent (don't get knocked as far and the spell is a close range ability) then as you get higher and nosferatu runs out you start to play keep away with your full screen and multihit projectiles.

By that point, you're going to die soon anyway so you may as well spam your overpowered ranged abilities.

To balance all this, the Levin sword regeneration will probably be persistent rather than reset on death.

If the Levin Sword breaks Robin uses the Bronze Sword for their normals.

I know, I guess the bronze sword is really underpowered though. I wouldn't call it a worthy attack. I doubt tomes regenerate with new stocks, it's probably timed, just like Wario farts and ROB's laser.

The EventHubs translation says Robin loses both the downwards offensive capability and the upwards jumping recovery.

you added 3 very unrealistic characters and called it "as realistic as possible" :P

I'm not up to date on my FE but what's the reason Marth and Lucina share their movesets? Are they siblings?

does "reasonable" sound better then? besides, how do you know those three are "unrealistic"?

anything can happen in smash. sakurai has said that before and after robin's inclusion, i have to say, i wouldn't be surprised if someone as random as "diskun" made it. im probably wrong though. but as i said earlier, if say Mr.G&W was never in smash and i said a pixelated man from an old obscure nintendo handheld from the 80s would make the smash roster, would you believe me? probably not.

and to answer your question, i believe lucina and chrom are
descendants of marth.
not 100% sure though.

It depends on how long they last. If they have a good number of charges, then (like JoeInky said) it's a good way to balance a character with a lot of dangerous abilities.

It also discourages defensive play - gotta get KO'd to get your tomes back - so the competitive community will love it!
Good point. Hope Sakurai continues to go further in depth these next few days.

My point is, people are acting like Shulk is equally as likely as Chorus Men. We have actual evidence of RH representation in the game. There has not been a trophy, a stage, a snippet of music our a single character model to indicate Shulk (or any Xenoblade rep) is a reality, yet there is no discussion that it might not be accurate.

I do believe he'll be in, but his chances are still less than the Chorus Men.
I will say what I said a day before the robin and lucina reveal, Shulk must be that one super ultra shocking character everyone wasent meant to predict easily, sakurai knows the game exists when he tweeted out the monado replica last year, which wasent a sign for anything but should be a sign that we shouldbe getting atleast trophies or music or AT from the series.

Did you enjoy older FEs or games in that genre? I got it for free and i thought it was decent but nothing special and lost interest 2h in. I really want to give it another shot tho.

Not really but I've always been interested in Fire Emblem and I have a 3DS so I'll probably get it.

The Gematsu leak can still be scrutinized for not accounting for Robin regardless of Chrom not making playable. If those translated comments are correct, that means Robin was always going to happen. I still believe that we're getting Shulk and the Chorus Kids [I've had no reason to doubt the characters listed] though. I also believe that we might be getting one or two more Robin/Rosalina situations too.

There's nothing in the Gematsu leak that implies the characters they revealed were all the characters in the game.

relax :), I actually think Diskun would be the most likely inclusion of these three. We are due a WTF character from the past in 4. (G&W in Melee and R.O.B in Brawl)

I'm gonna eat a broom if Krystal gets in tho.

The WTF character is going to be ExciteBiker, and I will never stop believing.

I'm not a fan of the recharge on attacks idea. It sounds too unnecessarily gimmicky and potentially damaging to the character just for the sake of having a nod to the Fire Emblem tome/weapon system.

Robin's B moves are sounding just as I expected... interesting that they didn't note if the other specials can run out. I presume they can, since Elwind and Thunder do, but confirmation would be nice. Gah, Robin is so cool!!

I'm also figuring it'll be a recharge on the Tomes. We know the Levin Sword comes back. I think it'd be poor design to have a unit whose moves can be used up, but that recharge in different ways.

And thus the trend of eating things based on character confirmation continues...

Down+B: Nosferatu
Purple-black smog in the shape of a snake appears right in front of Robin when this move is used. If your opponent is hit by it, he or she will be "cursed" by the spell. When a cursed opponent is hit, Robin's health meter will recover. What's also interesting is that if the cursed opponent is struck from the back, the amount of health Robin recovers will be larger.

Guys, are we just ignoring the implication that once Robin curses a character any attack on that character by anybody will heal her?
