So Bungie gave me three Playstation download codes.. is this normal?

If you preorder on the PSN store digitally, you don't get a code. You automatically get access.
Spam PS button method works if you're not doing that.
I didnt manage to join a fireteam in the Alpha.
Teamed up with someone i ran into tonight. Holy crap. Ive had the best 90 minutes. What an insane amount of fun with someone else, and loads of others running around too.

As always, for the new page (for some):
STEP 1: Click here and log in: https://account.sonyentertainmentne...account/giftcard/redeem-gift-card-flow.action
STEP 2: Enter Code. You'll promptly see this:
STEP 3: Go to PSN Store via PS4. If it says "Maintenance", keep on pressing PS button until it lets you through.
STEP 4: Go to "Downloads List". If it says "Maintenance", keep on pressing PS button until it lets you through.
STEP 5: Select "Destiny Beta". If it says "Maintenance", keep on pressing PS button until it lets you through.
STEP 6: Click on "Download". If you see a blank page like this (https://scontent-b-ams.xx.fbcdn.net...33_1459271957674830_8554032848906394303_o.jpg) then don't panic. Keep on trying until it lets you. If it says "Maintenance", keep on pressing PS button until it lets you through.
STEP 7: Repeat STEP 3 to STEP 6 until it lets you download it.
STEP 8: Once the game downloads. Run it and it'll download the 10GB update.

All give access to the beta, are meant to be shared so you can build your own 3-man team for strikes, co-op, etc.

Yeah, even alpha's menu had crazy music. I ain't deleting it cause I can go back and listen to it whenever I want.

Best advice I've heard is "keep trying it works after a few retries". After about a hundred attempts, maybe more, I'm still getting this screen.

Have you tried restarting your console? So you entered to code on PSN but won't give you access to start the download? I assume you've tried to access your library and it won't show up either? I had the same problem, and persistence pays off in this situation lol... If that is the issue you keep running into, just keep at it trying to load your library, eventually it will show up! Good luck!

I feel you man. I had to restart console. I had to log out and log back in. I had to run other discs to see if a game update will prompt it to work.

Remember, once you make it to that screen, keep on using PS button to go in and out of menu for it work it's ass off.

Been trying for half an hour now and all I keep getting are errors when I enter the code. I got to the confirm page twice but only for it to fail too

It's strange that Sony/Bungie didn't allow us to pre-load this. They knew that the PSN servers would get hammered by this.

I can confirm it does.
Going into settings and change it so no one can join your game.
It's co-op focused. If you thought you'd be all by yourself while playing solo, you're wrong.

hardwire your connection or get some powerline adapters. Sony skimped on the wifi card in the PS4 (only runs the 2.4ghz band)

Wow the PS3 version is soooooooo blurry compared to the PS4 Alpha. This is cannot be 720p even.

I'm on browser, not at home for another hour or so.
I'm not sure, but make sure you shut it off and not put it in standby before you unplug your console!

I know nothing about this game. I've been on black out since it was announced. Is there a single player campaign or is it all co-op?

If you mean you entered your code on your Bungie.net account page, then no. You need to select a platform and get your platform code first via their 'Redeemed Codes' page.
If you mean you entered it on Playstation's website, then... you should be able to, sure.

So I'm reading you can put the PS4 in standby and the game will continue downloading from the client. Sweet. But can I, say, switch over and play Wolfenstein while the game downloads? Or does closing the client cut off the download? I'm only wondering because I thought putting the console in standby closed applications anyway.
