If you have 9 digit code (XXX-XXX-XXX):

STEP 1. REDEEM CODE HERE: www.bungie.net/beta

STEP 2: Enter the 9 digit code. IF you have a 12 digit code then it belongs on PSN and not here.

STEP 3: Go to your Bungie Profile here: www.bungie.net/en/profile

STEP 4: Click on "Codes" (Third tab on top).

STEP 5: Choose your console and your region. BE VERY SELECTIVE AS YOU CANNOT REDO IT.

STEP 6: You'll receive 3 codes for PSN or XBL. Use one and give two away! :)

A. TTP stated: "Go to Noifications > Downloads. There should be a Destiny Beta notification with an error symbol. Delete that. Go to Library. You should now be able to download the beta".

Q. I've tried everything and nothing is working. Help!
A. Restart the console and log back in. Try for 10 minutes. If it doesn't work, Restart and repeat. It'll eventually work after the 10th or the 100th or the 200th try. Server sucks so bare with it. Be upset if you like but be patient. :)

Q. I'm on Xbox. Does any of this apply to me?
A. Redeeming 9 digit code applies to you! :)

Q. I tried it all! SAVE ME!
A. Access your downloads list and try remote download. Go here: https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/#!/en-us/download/list and try remotely downloading to your PS4. A lot of users were successful with this. You still have to launch the game and download the 10GB update. Good luck!

We can start the Beta so it can download the rest now?

I need to know this so I can explain my wife over the phone what she needs to do lol, is hard for her this things.

I can't believe how well iOS app already works. My new armor updated almost instantly. This shit makes Rockstar look like a bunch of shmucks.

ok, so at lunch i tried redeeming my code. it took it then i got an error. now it tells me the code has been used. i go to my downloads and it lists the beta there but when i click on it it just shows "no activity" in a bunch of empty boxes and when i hit x it does nothing. any ideas or should i just burn another code trying to download this. this shit is getting ridiculous. it's not like they didn't know it was coming.

edit: nevermind, went to my download list on the psn website and there was an add to queue button. huzzah!

I had downloaded the beta in the background and started playing some Lego Hobbit (don't ask). I just checked on it and it said it was complete 40 minutes ago. I open it and it's already at 40% transfered. Is that the starting point, or was it downloading data on the bg before I even opened it? I don't mind of it did. I had forgotten it was downloading. PEACE.

So I got a Destiny beta code from gamestop for pre-ordering my PS4 and I think I already put the code in months ago what do I have to do when I get home?

Looks like you might need to open the application to get it to start downloading.

Although a reddit link was posted where someone said it starts downloading without opening, in the comment section the OP took it back when reminded about the EULA agreement.

Keep trying on that last page...it should work eventually...dont use another code,it will do the same thing...its in your history so it's fine(in a way)...

Playing this with a Dualshock 4 modded with Xbox One sticks, and I cannot believe the difference it makes for me! In the Alpha I had a hard time aiming, but now I'm headshotting like a maniac and having tons more fun. Maybe they tweaked the aiming a bit too of course.

Why the hell is it not full download via the PS4 que? If you turn off the PS4 while it is downloading will you have to start it again?

Also I got 3 separate codes. Is that normal?
