Id have to agree with the sentiment that the newcomers so far are a lot more varied and unique. Sakurai really let it loose and came up with a lot of crazy additions. I feel this roster doesn't pack quite the same punch as Melee and Brawl additions but how they actual play more than makes up for it.

In terms of just the characters themselves, I also think I preferred Brawl's overall cast of newcomers. For this game there are a lot of faces I'm really happy to see show up, but its biggest strength is that every character looks really unique in this game.

The only character that I'm expressing apathy towards is the Mii Fighters. That's mostly because of them being banned online, and the fact that the big hook for them is custom movesets which I don't see myself dabbling in too much.

I talked to much they must know nothing!

Jokes aside... well it makes a little sense right? Another Smash direct before the big event the release of the 3DS version

Not sure I'm following you -- you're saying you preferred Brawl's lineup because you like the character choices personally, right? But you're acknowledging that SSB4 has a very clever lineup, mechanically?

I think this cast is the best we have very differents mechanics with the new characters like Robin and Rosalina (tomes plus puppets :) )
But I know I will use Little Mac most of the time lol.

Also where is the daily cool fanart? Tripon I think he was called he would put some amazing art from time to time here ):

Yes, although to be fair to Smash 4 I never thought it stood a chance in hell at topping Brawl's newcomer list for me. I think how fun the newcomers look mechanically in this game is definitely making up for it though.

Brawl brought along characters I really wanted to see like Wario, Diddy, Pit, Dedede, and more while surprising me with characters I thought were a pipedream like Pokemon Trainer, Olimar, and Sonic.

Ah, OK. I wasn't questioning your opinion either way, I just wanted to see if I understood correctly. :-)

It's prettty amazing how fun the newcomers here look to be in comparison to Brawl's, especially since most of Brawl's newcomers were really unique mechanically and brought something new.

I can't say that anyone in Smash 4 will top Wario's utility and aerial based moveset and Snake's trapping and zoning for me, but it's too early for that.

Pic of the day. Here's the Great Fox from Star Fox: Assault. I wonder what missions it will conduct. It'll probably have fighters running around on top of it without the pilot's consent.

Oh Sweet! I loved the design from Assault and was kinda dissapointed when they stuck with the 64 design for Subspace. Glad to see that it's back :)

New stage looks awesome!

I can't believe though that a game that is nearly 10 years old is the most modern console incarnation of Star Fox that Smash has to go off of. (Although Sakurai could've gone with Adventures even though its not much better)
