Yeah. But I'll live :)

Anyways, Ghostship Aftermath looks like such a piece of shit. At least the QL was pretty great.

"Also, this is not how people read."
It's all about expectations, imo.

If it's the first project of a small indie studio that's behind Ghosthip I'll look at it differently than if it was a hyped game from a big studio owned by a megapublisher.

Even if you look at it objectively and immediately think "early 2000s PC game".

Drew is big into boats.
Drew likes big boats and he cannot lie

I hardly ever read any of the articles Patrick writes on the site, but I am currently listening to a live stream of Jeff driving through a car wash ... #VideoGameJournalismIn2014

I can't believe this.

But I cannot keep up with the content.

Goddamn.

I'm pretty happy that the new hires and GBEast has resulted in an explosion of good content. It was looking really dire the first half of this year. Dan is great and Vinny being in more videos than ever is fantastic.

Ghostship QL was great. Drew and Dan is a good combo. Hell, Dan and anyone has been a good combo, excellent hire.

the space questions though, smh

Someone on mixlr chat said "Make the bombcast better"

Jeff just replied with (paraphrasing) "Okay. We'll do it. We'll do something different or something"

What's does it mean!?!?

"what kind of podunk-ass game just takes the logos?"

this Ghostship game seems like a real special piece of.... software.

edit: haha

"Nope. No. That is not how games work."

haha so it has a fullbright button but not a save option? fantastic. this is amazing. GB suffers so we don't have to.

"Should have known. It's called the Alexis."

Dan Ryckert
DMV needs the title for my car, and I have no idea what that is. Brought in all the papers from my glove compartment, none of them were it.

Dan Ryckert
DMV lady just spent 5 angry minutes trying to explain what a title is. I think it's like a receipt, but I don't keep receipts for 10 years.

Heh

Wow, how do you throw away your car's title and not realize how important it is? How do you go 30 years in the united states without trying mustard, sour cream, or mayo?

My favorite part of that is him trying to act like it's unreasonable to expect him to hold on to it all that time and it's totally normal to not know what a title is.

Has Dan been living under a rock his whole life?

Not his whole life, just for a few years in middle school after the time his parents lost their house to squatters. They didn't have a deed or any other paperwork proving it was theirs. It was a hard time. It would be nice to say that important lessons were learned, but you know...
