Out of curiosity (I am sure someone has kept track), how many times have we gone from the newcomer banners disappearing to a quick character reveal?

Yeah, i'd like the math on this. This seems like the quickest vanish ever, though. It seems to be between 1-2 weeks after banners go away before we get something new, though i'm sure there are exceptions
Also, I don't have my 3DS handy atm, but i'll gladly share my NNID for now.

Not sure if I will buy any new controllers, I guess it depends on how limited they are. I still have a good condition wired controller, a sealed wired controller, and two good condition wavebirds. Thinking about buying the adapter though, even though I already bought the Mayflash one...

Heh, I bought TWO Pro Controllers for the new Smash. Of course that was before I knew we'd get new GCN controllers and the adapter ;-;
Thank god for the Mayflash adapter, that has spared them from being a waste of money. I play lots of games on PC with a WiiU Pro controller new
I am but I just bought this one cause there was a deal/I wanted to test it
also it will come handy for bayonetta 2 and other future titles ;d

for UK folks, Shopto listed a Gamecube controller + Smash thing for £52. Confused as to why they didn't mention the adapter I emailed them, and it seems that it will include the adapter.. I don't know about you, but that price seems good considering the Gamecube controllers are listed at £20 odd.

Yeah, this is going to be so much easier on the Wii U. I forgot with the 3DS it doesn't alert someone when you've put in their friend code, you have to just hope they put in your friend code as well.

Do you think a skill level section would be appropriate to add on the doc list? Like people rating themselves on a scale of 1 (Novice) to 10 (Professional). That way people who prefer skilled opponents can add them, and vice versa with casual players who want to find people around their own level.

I sort of played around with that idea and, now that I'm remembering how silly the friend code system is, maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to add something. Maybe not a numbered making but...what would you guys think of just an additional section that you can put in a few words to describe your play style? Something like "1v1 / no items preferable, but I'll play whatever" or "FFA, items on only." I asked a few people before posting the doc and got mixed suggestions, but with the way friend codes work, it might not be a bad idea.
This is just for the 3DS.
