I think you'll understand that getting such hard evidence out of Russian and Qatari state-run media is a bit more difficult. If Al Jazeera is merely coincidentally on the exact same side on every issue as its financial benefactor, the Qatari government, then that's quite a coincidence.

Yes. I skimmed a bit through the different newspapers today. Two of the biggest (BILD, MOPO) just ignores the issue total and just talk about Ukraine and most others emphasize the dead israeli soldiers and how much protests in germans get out of hand. The coucil of jews (that sounds way less sinister in german) has raised awareness of anti-semitism. And I disagree. As I've posted in another thread you might have a point with Al Jazeera Arabic being a mouthpiece for Qatar, though Al Jazeera English is one of the worlds most revered and well-respected news organizations for it's objective and well-researched work.

Maybe it has lessened over time but I remember a huge anti-American bias at the time of the 2008 elections (and even after). Not sure if things changed or not. Besides, it's very hard to see past its direct affiliation with the Gov't of Qatar and the stigma associated with the name "Al Jazeera" (at least in the Western world).
