Look, it's not that I'm ruling them out. He's already gone against his initial statement and added some new alts (Note: I differentiate alts from color swaps like Link's SS tunic and Mario's patriotic golf outfit) But at the same time, nothing we've seen indicates that this is going to be a standard thing for all characters, and that we should put a lot of hopes into seeing a ton of alt costumes.

It just doesn't seem likely. It's about keeping expectations in check. I hope I'm wrong, but I've also made my peace with it not being a huge implementation.

The one time I really got pissed over spoilers instead of "Man, really" about it was when someone did spoiler-tagged (but unmarked) spoilers for Tales of Xillia in a Tales of Graces f thread under the excuse that Xillia had been out in Japan for a while so no warning about what game they were spoiling was necessary.

And some people will probably play the Wii U version more once it gets released, so those 2 things considered with the small 3DS friends list makes me not want to add my info. And that small friends list needs to accommodate for people who will play ORAS and MH4U.

Yeah, and I appreciate that. Ideally, this list won't have 600 people who just play every once in a while. I'd rather it be a smaller list with people who are actually going to be online often. Heath and I even discussed editing the list post launch once it becomes clearer who is on frequently and who forgot they signed up.

Considering the topic there, I believe that's him talking about costumes you can personally customize taking away from making characters unique, not actual different costumes.

Just hide the link to the form in e-mail tags so only GAF members can see the link. People can enter their info in the form and then it will appear on the document. You wouldn't need to enter the info people send to you yourself.
