Although I was pretty happy with Brawl's line up, after an initial disappointment (due to the unlockable line up being mostly veterans), I still think they'd have been better off not differentiating the clones and using those resources to just add more Melee type clones. Most people who complained about Melee's clones still complained about Brawl's anyway.
I think you're confusing this game for PS All Stars.

Hungrybox was so impressive at EVO. Unfortunately, Mango was too Mango. Plus, it doesn't help that the best player in the game also uses Fox, who is the worst matchup for Hbox's Puff. Oh well, at least Hbox took it to Game 5 both times.

Yeah. Despite odds being against him, he not only managed to beat Armada's Young Link a second time but was also so close to resetting the bracket.
That last stock was disheartening.

I always get stressed out when Hbox plays against a Fox. He's great at DI'ing, but I just know he's always an up-throw/up-air away from death.
Good for him for beating Armada's Young Link though. The way he would weave in and out of those projectiles was crazy, and I loved when he would back kick the bombs. Hbox beating Armada when he's using a character specifically chosen as a counterpick is not just a victory, but a moral victory.

The real moral victory for HBox at that tournament was probably being able to shut all the doubters up, since their was a fair amount of talk about dropping him from God status in favor of Leffen do to his lackluster performances in the tournaments leading up to EVO.
