I ended up picking up Injustice on PS4 last night and while I actually like the resolution bump, there's a stuttering to all the cutscenes just like in Thief that's really pissing me off. I'm glad it doesn't affect gameplay but it still makes what was a decent looking game look like shit, at least during the cutscenes. I wish someone had mentioned this as I probably would've gotten the PS3 version had I known. I played on 360 when it first came out and had no issues with stuttering cutscenes so I'm assuming it's just PS4 that has this issue. Maybe now I know why it was only $8. Shame but still enjoying it.

Haven't played fighting games in a while, but I figured I'd check it out for $8.
Fun game, nice graphics. The characters look really great. I like batman characters, and they all look pretty awesome -- Joker is great, Harley Quinn is awesome. Love the classic skin.
Does anyone still play this game? Is it a "thing"?

I have the game on PS4, Vita version doesn't seem bad to me. A few frame rate issues here and there but it never affected me. It works better than the slight input lag with PS4 remote play.
Definitely wouldn't say that it doesn't play the same at all. It's very much the same game with slight rare frame rate drops

People definitely still play. The community isn't as big as it was last year but it still had a decent draw at Evo a few weeks ago.

If you guys consider the framerte 45 and below a slight framerate drop when levels get hectic(except Alantis and 3 other stages) and you start doing %35-50 bread n butter combos then alright...different stroke for different folks. Don't even try to do intermediate-high level stuff whit MMH which literally brings the game to a crawl(especially when mirror match 2 mmhs). Low framerates in fg,especially one where they dip under 60 all the way to under 40 is a no go.
Glad you guys were able to tolerate it though and get enjoyment out of it.

Played ~1 hour of Batman Blackgate on Vita so far. I can see why it didn't get rave reviews but it has a lot of upside too. Definitely worth $4.20 for anyone on the fence who is a Batman and/or Metroidvania fan.
So much fanservice. Can feel a bit repetitive if you going for 100%. I enjoyed it very very much.

Man the dial-a-combo tutorial bullshit on Injustice just made me stop playing. A controller d-pad isn't accurate enough for their obscene timing. Square, square, back back + R2 seems literally impossible though it clearly can't be.

Extremely likely no. Sony has a completely stupid system where America and Europe are served by two completely different companies (SCEA and SCEE) with completely different sales, store and certification requirements. It shouldn't be like this on the age of the Internet, but here we are.
OP, you should have mentioned on the title that this is a NA PSN sale. All future sales threads need to mention whether it's for America or Europe.

I can't decide between which of the Summer Play 2014 games to get. Rogue Legacy, The Swapper, CounterSpy, and Hohokum. I have enough money for them all, if I wanted to get them all, but time is also an issue and there's a good chance that at least one of these games will be available on PS+ sometime. Hohokum has been on my radar since it was announced, Rogue Legacy seems amazing, I have heard great things about The Swapper (but it's the most expensive), and CounterSpy seems great as well. What games are you guys getting?
Just saw this. Absolutely terrible. Don't do it. Watch the story mode on YouTube if you must, but the game is awful. It's not worth your time. If you want to dabble in a DC fighter, spend the few extra bucks for Injustice. It's infinitely better.

i've made a huge mistake...i didn't buy this game earlier. Because oh my god Injustice is worth it. holy shit! Incredibly fun, lots of content...for the $8 it cost I feel like I ripped someone off o__O

You could just remote play. The Vita version is barley 30FPS anyway.
I play both versions. The Vita version is serviceable.
But don't play on PS4 and then jump to Vita. Holy crap it's jarring.

Picked up injustice and finished the story mode last night. Gotta say I loved it, I hope they do the same thing with mortal kombat X. Everyone pick up injustice it's worth it for the story mode alone.
I was waffling on Injustice because I just don't have s lot of time to clear my current backlog. But the positive feedback in this thread, and that price have pushed me over the edge. I bought Lego Marvel last night. I already completed it, but got it for my nephew. Injustice sounds like a good add. For the cost of a fast food meal. PEACE.
