What the hell does this even mean.Plays Destiny.
Watches Star Wars.
The fuck happened.
You had one job Halo. Be my all around SF fix. The fuck...
Agent Locke? Choices between loyalties and life?
Le sigh...
It's like Halo meets tumblr. Sorry I just can't relate to this.
Looks like shit. They didn't capture the look and feel of Halo AT ALL!
Really. As if they never bothered looking at one of the games.
Fail of epic proportions.
Huh - as if this is new?
Just watch the ODST promo again and then the game - nothing alike but still Halo and still good.

Never seen it before. Very bad in a very similar way.

It's like you never paid attention to the look and feel of Halo before.
Because this is nothing new.
This. Locke and everyone look on par with the military design Bungie set with reach. It's like you never paid attention to the look and feel of Halo before.

Still weird to me that they get a lot of successful live action Halo productions off the ground but never made it to a movie.
I did. 100% different from this. You probably mean all the stuff they did aside from the games - I never payed attention to that.
I was remotely interested in the show because Ridley Scott, but nooooooooooooooo...
I believe it is, I think that one is supposed to be produced by Spielberg. They are certainly spending more money than FUD.
Is this separate from the Showtime show?
Never seen it before. Very bad in a very similar way.
Composer?Hmm, I wonder if the "element that targets only humans" could be some sort of Flood byproduct?
They certainly seem to have upped the budget considerably from FuD.
Not overly impressed with that first look though. I'm sure that will change as we see more from the show, at least I hope it will.
You know it's not the best idea to speak on something you clearly have no interest/no knowledge on regarding the Media section of Halo (considering this is a thread about a media portion of Halo, and not the game in general.) the ODST promo, Reach promo, Halo Legends, Forward Unto Dawn, this and hell even Red vs. Blue are very much relevant to Halo's screentime/notoriety.
If you're a fan of Halo you should at least check out the films and comics. Dismissing them and coming to a thread to shit it up when you have no knowledge on it doesn't exactly make your argument look credible.
We finished shooting two weeks ago, so that was made for comic con, in a hurry, without any vfx or final color correction.
Not an excuse or a mea culpa, more of a, "and that's pre pre alpha..."
I have to to disagree with everything you said.
I can absolutely like Halo without giving a fuck about comics and whatnot.
As I said, I was interested in the show because of Scott, but this stuff I don't care for.
Oh and, don't tell me when it's appropriate to voice my opinion.
So can you explain what exactly you were expecting from a Halo TV show?
Obviously you don't care for extended fiction, which is what almost all the media is based off of.
To look and feel like Halo.
To look and feel like Halo.
To look and feel like Halo.
What does Halo feel like? Is it smooth, or is it more of a rocky texture?
This one is weird. Random dude in a hoody...

You literally said you don't give a fuck about any of this. And then you come in here an reiterate that you don't give a fuck about any of this. What's the point?I have to to disagree with everything you said.

Some more pictures of the cast:
What if he was a survivor on 04-A? Wouldn't that be something.
I'm still depressed over the Neil Blomkamp fallout.
Can you even imagine how awesome that would have been![]()

The cadets were easily the part of FuD. I liked Chief appearing, but it took away from the cadets and removed a lot of tension from their trying to get away from the convenant.
What would he be a survivor of though? I didn't think 04-A had native humans on it... Unless he was a survivor from the Pillar of Autumn. That would be a bit crazy.
Where's the Halo part of the teaser? I saw ONI and someone said UNSC, but....this so far seems to be totally new sci fi, with the name Halo on top? Is the element that kills humans new, or is that in the books/games? I didn't play 4/ read any books...
