i am malik ogabe. the truth is like a morning breeze in the gobi desert. it reveals itself only to those who seek it. accept my blessing, shauna. for it may cleanse you.

I don't know if it's just that hearthstone is as fun to watch as a seeing paint dry on growing grass or if all card games are this freaking boring but, man, that quick look knocked me out within 5 minutes.

To GBEAST's credit, though, Velvet Sundown and the ending to GWBW were so fucking hilarious that i'll allow it.

Man there's so much content to catch up on! Really happy that since Dan's been involved it hasn't led to a diminishing amount of Danny O'Dwyer!

If I miss a week or so and want to catch up, I'm just going to videos-latest and scrolling down to the last one I watched, then working my way back up. That'll work, right? Just that the organisation generally is a bit odd sometimes and I want to make sure I don't miss anything

Hearthstone (and other CCG's) are tough to watch - especially the way that Hearthstone is setup. You either have to know every card that Alex was playing, OR you have to have him click on each card so you know what each one does.

I like watching Hearthstone matches, but only when I know whats going on. Since Naxx is brand new to me, I kept screaming at my tv - WAIT! WHATS THE ONE CARD DO?!

It's different in person - of course. When my friends and I are having massive 6 man magic games and I get knocked out second, I just walk around grabbing cards out of peoples hands to read them, whispering what I think they should do next.

Watching the Oddworld Quick Look.

I didn't think I wanted to replay this game, but goddamn I also didn't know the remake was going to be this pretty.

Patrick needs to learn how to use a transcibers pedal. It should take no time to transcribe stuff. It is a pain though, I have to do it all the time.

re : oddworld

it seems a little odd that they overhauled the gfx and updated a lot of the mechanics but left in that dumb "chant to get a hint one word at a time". I can't believe many people were nostalgic for it.

The CEO of JAW ( Who developed the game) has been very active in the ODDWORLD OT. You should ask him about why they left that in the game. He has been answering other questions about the game as well!

i just dont use them at all haha. you dont need those hints anyway
think of it as a punishment for needing help

I soured on Oddworld when the JAW guy (mentioned above) released broken versions on Steam and explained it as "We had to get it out in time for the Steam sale or we'd be leaving money on the table."

That's when I decided I probably wouldn't buy anything they put out.

Abe's Oddysee is probably my second most favorite game of all time.

Never played Exodus. A New 'n Tasty version of that one would be sweet.

oh man. if you loved oddysee that much how did you skip exoddus!
i honestly think it's an even better game overall. i fucking LOVE that game
man i hope they do a new 'n tasty remake of it

Seriously? I love Oddworld and was probably going to pick this up, but that's some bullshit.

I noticed that since Dan started at GB they've been promoting their quicklooks a lot more on Twitter. Not a bad thing mind you, the more exposure the better. It's just weird to see GB go all transmedia suddenly lol.

Live Beast Bombastica of NFL 2K5 today? I'll take it.

Oh my god, yes! I've played so much of that game in my life. Probably a tie between that and Madden 2005 for my favorite football game of all time. Such a shame football games aren't what they were in that era anymore.

To their credit, haven't they not only corrected many of the issues but also rolled in the HD upgrades they made on the ps3 version back into the PC versions? I know when it launched it wasn't so hot but at least they didn't just leave it as is.
