Shit it's like we had a Revolution or something.
Except it (the 3DS version) releases in Japan before TGS. So their next event to reveal anything, outside of a Nintendo Direct, is Gamescom and I don't see it happening. They are definitely going to do a Direct next month with reveals. Either another full Smash Direct (except exclusively on the 3DS version) or a general Smash Direct for both versions again (or they might just do a general Direct and have a Smash trailer in it).
