Super Smash Bros. for 3DS & Wii U Thread XI: Where 90% correct equals 100% wrong

What im shocked they havent included or anounced is Pokemon World Cup as a stage for 3DS from B2/W2 they could literally bring every iconic trainer and have them send out a pokemon as a stage hazard.
 
The only trainer I'd want to see in Smash outside of Gen I is N; he's memorable enough and used tons of Pokemon to choose from
no Joltik tho

Galvantula would be a fast, light character based on setting traps with its webs and charging up lightning for devastating electrical attacks.
 
If Galvantula got in, people would be demanding that he be cloned as that dumb spider with sneakers from DKC2 under the insistence that he was the heart and soul of that series and his design totally holds up today.

It's rare to be bitten, and the really bad ones (recluses, widows) are pretty easy to identify and avoid once you get used to what they look like and where they live.

Although if you garden a lot, you'll might get bitten by those louse-hunter assholes that live under rocks and logs. Huge fangs that hurt even if their venom is too mild to do anything but itch.

It's a shame Gen 5 may not have a big presence in Smash 4 due to not being the most recent. It's so fuckin good though. I was hoping for a Castelia City stage.

Actually back in the day I had a stage concept where the fighting takes place on a cruiser and the boat just goes on a river tour of Unova and sees all the bridges. And it has real time night/day cycles.

Why won't this happen :(

Shit, I'd be happy with any Gen 5 stage.

I've made peace with this possibility...tho pokemon stadium could be based on unova's Pokemon world tournament :D

A Unova stage that's just a platform where the Elite Four used to be, with N's castle attaching itself to it in the background, would be awesome. I also think Zoroark (if transforming were still in the game) and Golurk would be awesome fighters. But who knows, it'd suck if Gen 5 got the short end of the stick like Hoenn did. Man, my favorite gens always get screwed lol.

i keep forgetting if gen 3 got any kind of music representation in brawl :T im hoping that gen 5 atleast gets music or if by some miracle a N castle stage

i kinda felt the same im hoping the e4 x/y stage changes that and adds a lot of gym/e4/champion remixes
 
I am so glad Pokemon has been the series I give the least of a shit about in Smash since Melee, otherwise I'd always be inevitably disappointed due to how many different gens and charcters/'mon they have to choose a very limited number of fighters from.

Being perfectly honest, if Brawl ended up having all its cut characters make it in, it would've been perfect character representation at the time. Repped Gen 1 with Pikachu, Jigglypuff, and Mewtwo, Gen 1 remakes with Pokemon Trainer, Gen 3 with Plusle and Minun, and Gen 4 with Lucario. Gen 2 would've had an absense...but I don't think there's many good Pokemon reps from Gen 2 to choose from.
 
I think Pokemon Trainer being cut is one of the legitimate disappointments from Smash 4 for me. I appreciate he's trying to axe transformations, and I'll sure as hell appreciate not having to press some obscure button combo to play as Zero Suit, but damn. Miss you Ivysaur.

I hear that. I think the character could've been perfectly fixed by getting rid of the stamina mechanic.

If that happened though Pokemon would've had like, 7 (8!!! depending on how P&M worked) reps in comparison to Mario which went down to 4. I don't mind it being tied for first, but by far and away having the most reps would've been super awkward in my opinion.

... I do want *both* Jiggs and Mewtwo back in SSB4, even though that'll put it at 6 while Mario's at 5. Guess they could just start counting Yoshi as Mario related?

Squitter's legit my favorite DKC animal buddy and I think it's pretty obvious with his buckteeth and DK-BRAND SNEAKERS he was supposed to be goofy as all get out.

It's not genius character design but I still love him.
