I genuinely think Dan thought he was 'cool' during that TMNT Kinect QL. He's the perfect counterpoint to Jeff's ultimate cynicism.
He was even making Mortal Kombat references, Jeff! That was for you, come on!
It is funny that Jeff doesn't seem to have weird food habits anymore when he has Dan to compare to.
Edit: The TMNT game looked legitimately fun for kids to play with for 30 minutes. The staff was straight up Star Wars Kid and who here wouldn't have enjoyed that when they were 10?

Catching up on UPF. Like Brad, I have no idea what Moomins are, however, as someone traveling to Japan in two weeks I know there is a Moomin themed cafe a very short walk from my hotel.

I think it's mostly a European (and Japanese?) thing. It's a Finnish creation, books and a comic strip for kids. It was huge here in Norway when I was growing up (90s), and I don't think any entertainment scared me as much as a kid as the episodes of the TV show that included this lady:

I edited my original post so I could change the picture (it was two very similar pictures), and for some reason that duplicated my original post with the new picture. Don't ask me how or why.

No its from the PS4 launch stream where they saw that horrendous texture pop-in while playing Madden.
Also doubled as one of the best ways to show what the Share feature could do (apparently its broken now though)
Yeah, I watched this episode of The Moomins about 30 times as a kid even though I scared me to death every time (go to 1:25 in the video for the real magic).
