I lived in England for a year and watched some cricket then. It's a pretty easy sport to understand, but my problem was that it's just so. fucking. slow. Even the "fast" version of the sport goes on for hours. I'd probably feel the same about baseball.

Test Matches (50 overs) Just take the piss.

Test matches are fucking great too. Separates the boys from the men.

Was at my brother's house this weekend waiting for some of the international soccer friendlies to come on ESPN3 and we watched some cricket. Explained to him everything I Iearned from DO'D. Still tons of confusion, but, filled the time.

Yeah, if you want to watch cricket watch the T20 series. The One Day series is still too long and test matches like the Ashes are 5 day monsters. It's a shame that the best players usually stick to test and one day games.

Eh, there are more than enough T20 leagues to go around now. Also the best test player is very different from the best T20 player. Totally different skillsets, though some people obviously overlap them really well. (david warner, saeed ajmal)

I don't think the original poster was legitimately suggesting Dan was a degenerate. He was making a joke about Dan poking the toy doll in the mouth. I really don't think it was a serious insult
