To be fair to brawl, brawl was amazing for about 1-3 months for most people. The flaws took a long while to settle in once the OMG SO MUCH CONTENT SO MANY NEW CHARACTERS AND STAGES started to wear off. First impressions of brawl were pretty amazing, especially for the insane amount of content it provided.

In retrospect, that was such a HILARIOUS score even with the context of Melee vs. Brawl gameplay out of the question. How a multiplayer game with Brawl's online could even sniff a high 9 even in 2008 is beyond me. :lol

Probably not, due to the hype surrounding it. People are expecting a perfect (or near) score.
I really shouldn't have watched that Paper Mario: TTYD battle video. I forgot just how amazing the battle system was in that game between the actual fighting and the crowd pleasing/stylish action stints. One of the best secondary systems ever right there.

Well, there are some people that wouldn't buy 3DS version and still waiting for Wii U is more likely to posting at Daily Thread when people who are playing 3DS would stay with 3DS OT.
Moderator recommended to not merge the thread (3DS and Wii U) so it's not our goal at the moment. However when both threads' posts are going to start wane then I would more likely to take an action to merge both to keep it alive.
I remember one time that Luigi actually killed me..
I survived a very powerful attack, but with just 1 hp left, I was going to use an item, so didn't notice that someone was going to throw a bone, and it killed me lol

We have hit a new point, I'm not sure what to call it.
Scratch that, this is the new point.
I for one cannot wait to see which gaming site gives it a 7 out of 10.
Similarly one of my fondest gaming moments was fighting the post game boss in the bottom of the Pit of 100 Trials. Through getting there (first time) and the early parts of the fight with Bonetail, I had pretty much used every recovery items I had at that point and I was getting #rekt once Bonetail started abusing the hax. When I got reduced to low HP, I triggered the Last Stand badge (high evasion when in low health) a few times and got in some hits that weren't even doing damage at that point. The objective was to try and spamming style moves until something worked out. What I didn't realize was that I got two Shine Sprites on the roulette from previous attempts but neglected to pay attention.
The third time it happens, we go to the spin and I'm just there like "fuck it" and punch the button only to get three Shine Sprites, meaning full health, full partner health, full FP, full star power and a full audience to get more style points and star power from.
The feels young me had when that worked out so perfectly... I think that was what it must feel like to get a shounen power up IRL.

Anyone expecting some eshop demo to show up for Smash 3DS in the future? Or would it be pointless?
I would love just to play it early and get used to the controls.
I would not want to be the poor soul betting on there being a Smash demo in the future. With how much Sakurai and Treehouse keeps reiterating that the E3 demo is old old old, I can only imagine how much of a hassle it would be on development for them to actually push out a demo build based on near-final code if if they're still dragging the old E3 build around.

Well this is accurate.
All of the glitches shown from the E3 build basically tell me we'll never get a demo, yeah, don't expect it. It's a lot more work to make a 'stable' home version demo, and the ROI isn't really worth it these days. Especially not for a game where most people trying it out were going to buy it anyway.
A post release demo to help boost sales, however, isn't always a bad idea.
