I remember being upset when Assist Trophies were first introduced in Brawl via Samurai Goroh. I think if Diddy/Dedede/Sonic had been revealed at that point I'd have been fairly chill about it, but eh.
At this point I have enough of what I wanted where characters I want getting disconfirmed via trollish POTD's isn't going to faze me much.

I get where you're coming from. If characters like Ice Climbers, Ness and Falcon can get in regardless of not having games for over a decade then Takamaru should have gotten in just fine.

Sorry that I love hyping up and supporting a character that I really want in! Who wouldn't want their character in? Sakurai is an unexpected person, anybody could be in, and we'd be surprised.
35 straight days of character disconfirms would be amazing. We would go through a thread a week, at minimum. Part of me wants it to happen just to watch the bloodbath.
The rest of me is terrified that all the characters I want are on the chopping block.
And? Why is that a slight to wanting a character? I think everyone entertains one or two off picks in the back of their head when playing the odds with a Smash game's development.

Well, I don't really understand how it work with feeling the game being incomplete. I meant any characters that haven't become playable yet, so we don't really have any bond with those characters, comparing to playable veterans which we grew to like the characters. That's why I always think veteran characters getting cut really hurt people more than those characters that missed their chance being playable characters.
I'm pretty happy that I'm more likely to have Isaac and Takamaru as assist trophies because they would help me to win the battles. That meant I have to work harder to make sure that no one touch assist trophy but ME!

I currently don't even plan on buying Smash 4 until months after it comes out.
However, that's simply because I decided to get a JPN 3DS and will have a bunch of games I want to work my way through. It's possible I'll get Smash after I get DQM2 3DS, though, and that's the first game I'm getting.
