PlayStation Network Thread (Vita/PS3/PS4) | July 2014

I really suck at Hot Shots Golf Vita. It's remarkable. Great game though, I just really, really suck. Can't wait to see this series on PS4..

I think the game has good balance/challenge, up until gold. The gold level (Legacy Links) will break your will, but no harm in dropping down to easy... In my opinion if you can make it to gold lvl challenges on normal, you're pretty good at the game.

I double dipped (Vita/PS3) and would love a new game on PS4.
I hope they add more "real golf" challenges, that was fun.

Is Rogue Legacy supposed to unlock at midnight? And is that Eastern or Pacific time?

For what it's worth, mine says midnight and I'm in Eastern time. Someone earlier in the thread said theirs says 9PM, so I assume that would be the unlock time for the Pacific time zone.

Oh God, yes please!

Let's not hope it's a $100 limited edition, for the sake of being super limited, too.

Since it's 99.99% going to be a NISA Store exclusive, I'm hoping they'll at least make it a cheaper LE like Demon Gaze was (only $10 or $20 more I think).

I'm already buying three games from them in September, hopefully it releases a bit later to lighten the load.

This probably just highlights one of the reasons the Vita will never be my main handheld system, but why do they even let you try to launch a game before its release date? I mean, the Live Area is there to provide information on a game before actually launching it, but I have no idea if Rogue Legacy is playable yet without hitting the button.

It wouldn't be such a big deal if the Vita didn't force other applications to close before launching a game. So twice now, I've had to close out another game just to get an error message about the game not being available to play yet. What's worse is that games often take so long to actually launch, I don't even feel like relaunching the original game after I get that message.

You can just see from the information tab when you'll be able to play the game and wait until then.

Come on Sony, give the Vita an update that lets us access all PSN Stores like the PS3/4.
Those 64 GBs will sell like hotcakes.

Screw Nippon Yasan. They're still charging 19,980¥ for Madoka Magica: The Battle Pentagram. Not just them either. Everyone followed suit after the first batch of pre-orders sold out.

I'm speaking of the limited edition version, of course.
That's a crazy markup. At launch it was only ¥7630. The stuff in there honestly isn't that special either. The PSP game had a waaaay better LE, and it's much cheaper now.

Damn Ebay. Scalpers are going after this when they know it's happening.

Yeah, I know, that's got me torn between trying to raise awareness and get people to go express interest in it... and the possibility of it selling out before I can even see that it went up.

Unless you're very influential, I doubt that raising awareness would increase sales to the point where it'd sell out before you get a chance to buy it.

For some reason my Vita is not turning on. I thought it was plugged in, but maybe it wasn't. Regardless, I've checked to make sure every part of the AC adapter is plugged in now, and the PS Button isn't glowing orange or any color. I've tried holding the power button for a while and that didn't do anything.

I'm a little scared.

Leave it be and try again in a couple of hours.

I've had that happen to me and it was because the battery was completely drained. Just leave it plugged in for a while and it should be okay. Did you happen to be using Skype and leave the app open overnight?

No, but I will leave it plugged in and see if that fixes it. It's just weird because I'm ALMOST certain it was already plugged in before I checked.

I wanted to get rouge legacy but I a few bucks short...I bought a ten dollar psn card from sony rewards but haven't received anything in my email.
