PlayStation Network Thread (Vita/PS3/PS4) | July 2014

Theyre trying to get peope to preorder The Swapper. With a discount for Plus even. Seems weird for it to go free,
 
Doubt it since they just sold The Swapper pre-sale to a bunch of people. I'd for one be irate since it had a PS+ specific discount.

I'm so regretting giving my PS3 to a friend, the amount of full retail games it's been getting on PS+ has been sickening for me..
 
Better not be The Swapper. As much as I want as many people as possible to play that wonderful game....I preordered it already and I'd better get a refund if it is the free game. Not fair to put up a preorder page and then do that.
 
Can't see this being true. It would be rather bogus of them to make a game instantly free that isn't even out yet without even informing ahead of time.
 
There is no way that list is true. Way too many newer releases.

Though if it is true... Rorona <3.

Either way, hope they announce the games tomorrow. Also looking forward to the Summer Sale, assuming there is anything for the Vita.
 
Started playing Strider today, am playing it on hard and just got through a serpent boss (
the first boss after the three sisters
), and until now the hardest boss was Solo for me. However, I'm enjoying this game A LOT!! I'm just very surprised!! What a great 2D platform game! I hope it does not get any frustrating from now till the end, because I'm having lots of fun with this game and I dont want to have my experience spoiled by frustating sections like happened to me with Guacamelee!

For some reason this Strider reminds me from Mega Man X. Playing it I just think how good could be a new mega man in the same mold.

So for those who downloaded but did not tried yet, give this game a chance! Its VERY good!

There is no way the Swapper or that new Atelier game are gonna be on PS+. They just released! Probably one of the older Atelier games will get on PS+ but I doubt the Swapper will be on there so early unless Sony really went out of their way to get the Swapper AND Atelier Rorona or whatever on PS+

I just speed ran this yesterday in 4:30 in my first try, just missed the 4:00 mark. I had trouble on the serpent where you did too. Patience is key, pay attention to the missle markers when he is in the distance and its easily avoidable and if you stay in the middle its easy to get away from his icy breath. Fortunately
Solo 2
isn't too difficult, but still took me 3 tries and the final boss only took me two tries. I may go for 100% on hard at some point but I doubt I'll attempt the 4:00 trophy again. I wish I had done hard first 100% and then did a normal speed run after. I think I finished with 50% something percent. I did enjoy Guacamelee more though, but maybe because I took my time.

I just finished this yesterday and I enjoyed it a lot. I did find that when I got to the point of no return I decided to go back for upgrades that I missed and I found that a bit boring so I just went on to finish the game. The final section was a small of difficulty spike but nothing too bad.

I'm not goin to believe the Russian ps plus list, a ps4 game that's currently up for preorder and a new release vita game seem very unlikely. But I will still hold off on pre ordering the swapper for the moment... Just in case
 
If only Rogue Legacy came out a month ago, I'd be more than up for it. Now I'll have to wait for a long time until I'm able to get it.
 
i hope this isn't real vita wise at least. i already own 1001 spikes and Atelier Rorona Plus is... the baaaad kind of anime (opinions)

but if it is real, octodad and swapper should be fun. and everyone now would have a good reason to try 1001 spikes, probably the best game i've played this summer.
 
2 bosses down and 6 deaths in Rogue Legacy so far, I'm on pace for the 15 deaths but I have a feeling I'm going to get it handed to me on the final boss for not having played in some time.

edit: wow just had 3 question marks for my choices as heirs...that wasn't there before...?
 
I'm having trouble purchasing Rogue Legacy. The PS4 store doesn't even give me the option of purchasing, and the web store doesn't apply my PS+ discount. Anybody know what's up?

I believe were talking about different "serpents" here... actually it was a sewer boss (a mini-boss I believe), but I was able to get through it quite easily. I just got the kunais! =)

But its good to know that it may not become frustrating ahead. I really hope so! I enjoyed quite a lot of Guacamelee too, but some sections really got me on my nerves... I was able to finish that but I wasnt having so much fun at the end (specially after a fight section against a bunch of enemies bomb trying to throw me on a ground full of saws, and a section at the end that I had to fight 3 skulls with electric power).
