Honestly, I wasn't too impressed with the soundtrack
treasure this moment; it's the only time you'll hear me speak ill of a Paper Mario game.
The Battle Theme might work, but really, the two best PM tunes for Smash are Rawk Hawk's and General Guy's battle themes.

TTYD still has the better soundtrack for sure, but I really like the jazzy take they went for. Also, totally forgot Genral Guy's theme, that'd be great!

One of the tracks is going to be from the level that it's based on I bet, I just forgot what level it was.

BTW anyone think assists/new characters are slightly lower quality than what's been shown earlier? Lucina doesn't have much personality bleeding through her pics imo, and Takamaru is lowwwwwwww poly I believe.

Assists are lower poly compared to the mains.

Very true, yet I still wonder how much polishing is still left to do. I think he'd look fine as is for the 3DS version though, but the 2D blades, and blockiness looks a little off as of that build on Wii U.

There's only two tracks on 3DS stages. I think it is safe to assume that both are probably from Sticker Star.
Would love a console Paper Mario stage though.
 
Sakurai if you're reading this, Mother is a dead series. All us Mother fans have is Smash Bros. anymore. Don't take either Ness or Lucas from us. :(

The stage looks like a Whispy Woods/Dream Land replacement....just lacks the platforms unless if some sticker platforms fly in from time to time.
 
In all semi-seriousness, I bet some of the Nintendo Treehouse folks, who likely get to see the pics beforehand, have GAF accounts that they use to influence the discussion here and make it seem like Sakurai's reading this topic! So, who's the one who started talking about Paper Mario??
