Giant Bomb #8 | It's a Hit!

I don't know if I dislike Rambo 4, if only because it has that silly "live for nothing, die for something" line. lol

Seriously though, this is the final battle scene:

It's literally just him sitting on a turret shooting guys for five minutes. How can that be exciting to watch!
I'm all for good action, but to say Rambo 4 had it is a bit crazy. At least Rambo 2 and 3 had him take down a chopper. lol

If you want to be truly australian it would be YA BLOODY RIPPA.

But we want to be truly Australian racist here, not accurate!

Have never played a MMO either. Closest I've gotten was Amalur because people said it was similar and I turned that off after a couple hours. No thanks.

I definitely see the appeal, especially since I like games that I can kind of mindlessly click on while I'm watching tv, but no MMO has ever appealed to me on a mechanical level.

Dan made a Human Warrior. Giant Bomb is doomed, shut it down.

Pretty sure there's a clause in the contract somewhere that says you have to play the most straightforward/boring class in every game ever to work there. It's one of my biggest pet peeves, no one there EVER steps out of their comfort zone, and it's fkkn video games we're talking about. Playing Mass Effect as the soldier every time, because god forbid you have to do something other than shoot guys.

To be fair to Dan he wanted to use both magic and melee, but Jeff didn't recall the game well enough to mention that the Shaman would be great for that.

*sob* why don't they like to play the exact same way I do!

"boring" is so subjective, for me it applies to any healer or magic class. I don't begrudge you your boring mage though, that is why they offer you a choice and Dan had a pretty clear run to choose who he wanted. Jeff might not have helped his choice but a wow first timer would likely be in the same boat.

I don't think shamans were any good in the time Jeff played WoW, and remember that he also played Alliance, so only shamans he saw were on the other side of the conflict.

I think warriors in wow are fun, but yeah, Dan should have picked a paladin. It's such a Dan class, i think.

Ah very true. Paladin would have been good yeah, the description made him think they only used hammers and he wanted to use swords. I think he would have liked Paladin especially running around with a 2 handed sword.

Real Windfury left him legit shook, the cold night sweats never end for him.

Dan is so much more enthusiastic than Jeff which is refreshing but Jeff's humour is irreplaceable, he gets too much hate these days.

The only Metroid Jeff doesn't seem to hate is the first one, which is fucking baffling because that game is straight up archaic.

In a recent vid with Dan, he called Super Metroid "outstanding" or something to that extent. He was just disappointed at the time that it was so short.

I wonder if he has played Metroid Prime Pinball.
