sold. 30 bucks for dragons age inquisition.
30 bucks for 10% off Dragon Age: Inquisition is it?

sold. 30 bucks for a 5 day trial of dragons age inquisition.
how so?You're reading it wrong.
Exactly. A per device subscription service is convenient, a per publisher service is a mess and it will add up if you subscribe to multiple publishers services. The only advantage is that the user can choose which publisher to subscribe but that is limiting.
Xbox One only? Someone please explain this logic
Fixed.

edit: what's the 30$ a year for?
5 days may not be bad if you actually get to play it however long you want in those 5 days..... somehow I doubt it'll be the full game. Probably more akin to PSN Full game trials
i think this is EA's way of combating PSNow/PS+, which is why this is xbone exclusive...
Yeah. I cant imagine they letting you play the full game for 5 days straight.

That's true. So you'll sub for a month, and get the 10% discount? Or you'll be buying 5+ EA games per year?

The wording is a little tricky for us old drunkards.Just go read the IGN article. It really isn't very complicated.
If they did it's be great. Pay 5 bucks, play the hell out of it, cancel, then wait til DAI hits the bargain bin to play it again. That's probably exactly why it won't work like that.
if you end up buying 2 games and their DLC, you essentially save as much money as you spent... while getting access to the game vault, and saving potentially even more money on other purchases.
in the last year I bought titanfall, battlefield 4, their season passes, and peggle. so I would have saved more money than I spent on the subscription, and would have been able to play FIFA and Madden.
and they are just going to continue adding games to the game vault? sounds good to me
Wait another 6 months. I bet early next year.
They already mentioned the upcoming EA Sports '15 lineup.
So instead of demos EA now gives us 5 day trials for money.
they are geniuses.

Play First – Membership in EA Access lets you experience trials of new EA games up to five days before the release date.*
*Conditions, limitations and exclusions apply. See www.ea.com/eaaccess for details.
PLAY FIRST
If you’re an EA Access member, you can download upcoming EA games five days before the release date to play for a limited time. Madden NFL 15, NHL 15, FIFA 15, NBA LIVE 15 and Dragon Age: Inquisition are all included, with more to come. If you love it, buy it, and you can pick up right where you left off.
Um, so you're saying it's too good of a deal?
I'll just throw a disclaimer so people do not think I'm talking about the Xbox One here, it's not about that.
Watch them lock pre-order bonuses behind this service, like Sony did with Destiny. Could be good for them, like it was for Sony, but for the consumer? Hmm..
No. $30 is 10% of $300. So you need to spend enough money to get more than a $30 total discount.
And if you are buying all those games and DLC (that will eventually end up in the vault 2-3 years later), the vault isn't that valuable since you already bought those games ~$300 worth PER YEAR.

This will sell consoles to sports gamers
5 days trials
But why? What does EA have to gain in such a situation.
