The Tropical Freeze soundtrack is a master class in amazing video game music. This song is a great stand out, especially for the segment you can hear around 0:58 through 1:33. The instrumentation just creates this cool tension and unique escalation of music.

There are too many songs in TF like that too. On a slight tangent, while not a new piece, I'd really love to see the TF version of Lockjaw's Saga make it in. The build up in this version is just sweating_Lucina.jpg tier.

Y'all are writing our obituary too soon. We never predicted exactly what the pic would be, just roughly what it would be. We talked about Takamaru as a playable character, and we get him as an AT; we talked about Paper Mario in general, and we get a PM stage; now Loco calls a new item, and we get an item about which we know nothing except that it exists. We're still batting a thousand (or at least Loco is.)

No guys! We're still right about Sakurai reading SmashGAF. We have altered his choice in the PotD because he needs more of our tears to fill his bathtub with! It keeps him looking so youthful 0_0

Tomorrow is the 31st. And it's been over 31 years since Nintendo sold their first Famicon, July 1983.

We're getting something tomorrow. I can FEEL it.

Theory

We still have the power to influence PotD

However, while we spoke our dreams, we didn't believe them

In our hearts, we secretly felt the pic would suck

And so... the pic is full of suck

Oh well, one day soon boys (Plz Sakurai).

this is a good point, someone should shop Loco's avatar onto the magic conch pic from Spongebob

Rused once more.

Pic of the Day. Shulk, from Xenoblade Chronicles, joins the fray as an Assist Trophy with his unique blade, the Monado. It has unique effects in gameplay that we're keeping secret for now.

*second close up pic*

The development staff put a lot of detail into Shulk; if you didn't know better, you might mistake him for a playable character.

"Pic of the Day. I, Shulk, have thought of joining the Smash fray for a short while. Behold! Backstab! Straight Edge! [FYI, he's the character printed on the Club Nintendo insert for this game]"

Especially when you play that specific level with the song playing in the back. The burning of the environment mixed with the tension and escalation of the song is a perfect blend of gameplay and art/sound direction that not many games achieve nowadays. The first time I played the level I felt like I needed to run through it and make my playthrough exciting just to match the tone of the song.

That version of Lockjaw's will be perfect with a pirate themed DK level.
And King K. Rool's reveal trailer

People saying this pic suck are, to put it quite frankly, nitwits.

Looking forward to finding out about this item after it was teased in the Pacman trailer.

The funny thing is, this isn't even true, lol. Metal Face is on the Club Nintendo insert. (I know because I just registered it a few weeks ago, lol.)
