The violence continued Wednesday morning, when Israeli forces shelled the Abu Hussein School in northern Gaza and killed at least 20 people, the Palestinian Health Ministry said.

The school was a U.N. facility based in Gaza's Jebaliya refugee camp, the U.N. Relief and Works Agency said. Agency spokesman Gaza Adnan Abu Hasna said 19 people were killed and 126 were injured.

I don't know why there's a new thread for all of these.
Was a thread created when it turned out the playground was actually hit by a Hamas rocket, and not the IDF? I know it was a huge story here when it looked like it was IDF.

All the deaths from this war are tragic, but the way it's discussed on GAF is pretty fucked in its own way.
 
Surely there must be something in place in the United Nations that can override the US veto on dealing with Israel. How many UN shelters have been attacked already?

I'd ask what the fuck is Israel doing...

but it's been made abundantly clear to me they're strategically crippling their enemies without regard for human life and long term knock on consequences, while using media obfuscation to deflect from the atrocities that they're committing.

Easy. They're doing what they can get away with for as long as they can get away with it. No sense in spreading out the devastation, and risk someone calling them out on it. They've got too many schools and hospitals to turn into rubble.

Seriously though, when Syria dropped napalm on a school, the entire world was in an uproar demanding Assad's head. Why can't we at least sanction Netenyahu?
 
This is getting ridiculous. I hate how Israel gets a free pass to do whatever the fuck they want to these people and the international community won't do shit about it. This shit is truly depressing and my heart goes out to all the people affected by this bullshit.

Arab countries are incompetent, asian countries have no interest in this, pakistan is dealing with its own issues, India by and large supports Israel overall, China doesnt find it strategically important, uk and usa side with Israel as does canada. Only South America is vocal about it

There are people who care, they just appear to be outnumbered/outvoted/overpowered by those who either don't or are actually enjoying the oppression - and there are definitely those who are gaining a level of satisfaction from this massacre.

Mobilization of the man on the street is the only way to force governments, and the companies who support them, to take action. Hit them where it really hurts, hit them in their pockets.
