Even if he gave Krystal her staff, I'm pretty sure her special moves still would be based on the Fox pattern though (B, energy blast from staff, Down B, energy shield from staff, Forward B, some kind of forward thrust attack with the staff, Up B, Rocket Boost) and we'd quickly get people complaining about clones, like Wolf's situation.

Also, how does Fox not have a James McCloud alt? Throw on some sunglasses and you're basically done.

Isn't that the problem? Not different enough. Although he might get one this time since we're getting more common elaborate costumes. They could throw in glasses and make his clothes brighter, like how Marth has always had an alternate with brighter blue colors, closer to his actual design in FE3.

It would be new version of up until now - Ness update. At least it wouldn't be that bad this time since we have to wait for a month and 10 days before we would find out about him.

Fair enough, but I liken it more to when ALBW came out and we saw Zelda return. You're right in that there's no hard and fast rule, though. There never is with Sakurai!

The first leak said Pac-Man, Mii Fighter, Little Mac, Wii Fit Trainer, and Villager would be playable. The second leak, which easily could have been faked, said Palutena, Shulk, Chrom, 6th generation Pokémon representative, and Chorus Men would be playable. Just because the first round of information was correct doesn't mean he's right about everything.

I wonder if some of the R.O.B. hate comes from how heavily he was focused on in the SSE. I think he adds great variety to the roster, but he had some sort of odd spotlight on him in Brawl. Think people would've been more acceptive of him if he just kind of sneaked in like G&W.

Miis are definitely worse than R.O.B., and set a new low for the series. But it's not worse than Krystal! I'm not really angry though, because I expected it, and I decided to not get angry about the game's roster.

ROB was literally "The Subspace Emissary." He was a pretty important dude in Brawl.

Now I just wanna see him back in SSB4. I'd be really surprised if Sakurai dropped such a creative character.
