I think Lovren will turn out to be a fine purchase. Lallana was way overpriced.
But they play 4-3-3 so he has to play as a RB

I still think Lovren went for about 5m more than he's worth but he's still young. Same with Markovic. Hasn't really proven his 20m price tag, though if we buy Carvalho for that 26m or whatever is I'll say the same thing. Unfortunately I'm afraid Lallana was a one season wonder and he seems like a bit of a dick too.

I've not heard a bad word on Markovic and how much have you watched of him to know he's worth 20m at this moment in time? I know i haven't. I'm unsure on Lallana too, having spent only two years in the premier league, i imagine he has flew under a lot of peoples radars, here's hoping he carries on progressing.

I'm going to have as many fringe players as possible in my fantasy team. I have high hopes for them this season.

I guess my reservations with Liverpool's transfer business were that I'm not sure how much the first team has been strengthened. but looking at that list, their business hasn't been too bad in that regard. Lallana was an overpay, but Lovren should be an improvement. Can, Origi, Lambert squad players. I think Markovic will be good too. Two improvements to the first team, one significant loss. We'll see how it turns out. Getting Moreno and shoring up that defense even more will be good too.
I think Lallana is a good player, but I think he is (right now, at least) at the level of a team trying to qualify for the top four rather than a team trying to win the league (which is, presumably, what Liverpool are trying to move towards). I don't think he's better than, say, Steven Pienaar was when he was at his best for Everton (think it was around 2009/2010 era).

This for me is one of the bigger factors. S Liege would probably be who I pick to face. Close and our B team would probably still smash them.

I think the Lovren price was fair. He's still quite young for a CB (only just turned 25 a month ago) and had an excellent season for Soton. On top of that, he has a decent number of European games under his belt when he played with Lyon. I don't think they could have done significantly better at his price.
You might argue they overpaid by a few million but I think it was a good price. It's the difference between getting a guy in as soon as possible and training in your system and instead having to wait for him to be ready to go on day 1. They definitely overpaid for Lallana though. Big time.

Thats even less substantial than anything else we've seen to suggest it might come to PC? Amazon list stuff all the time, I doubt it means anything.
If MS really do decide to port it (which seems stupid to me, but never mind) I suspect you'll be waiting a while and Halo 5 might already be out by then anyway or you'll missed the beta if you're into that sort of thing

both lovren and lallana have PL experience and should bed in very quickly, but you have to pay for that.
rodgers really wanted lallana, he was a top target and I trust his observations much more than mine. same for markovic and lovren, they were our no.1's and we got them. we have a level of squad depth that the club hasn't enjoyed in years (our midfield and backline is insane), and everyone who was in charge last year remains. how can you not be optimistic?

They could easily make some money on people who wouldn't buy an X1 in the first place, which might attract some people to H5.

MS got a platform to sell which isn't Steam... the whole point of having exclusives is to get people to buy your platform. The argument of people who wouldn't buy an XB1 is probably not nearly as significant as the people who could be tempted if they didn't port.
Halo is their biggest franchise, resources and time better spent on new games
