Last season most teams exploited our weakness at LB. Lennon and Walker are usually pretty solid together and of course have bags of pace.
Walker last season became one of our key defenders and when he got injured towards the end we looked weaker without him.
He is still only 24, the one thing he needs to control is his temper. I do worry though how good he can be without Lennon in front of him, who often provides defensive cover for him.
He isnt going to be a world class player no, but he is a solid right back who has the potential to become Englands first choice. He is also one of the quickest around, always a handy asset when you are a defender.

Walker is quick enough to make up for most of his mistakes but fuck me if he isn't the densest footballer I've seen in a while. Yorkshire lad, so he must be a nice bloke but I reckon he is a right simpleton. Translates to his game. Zero positional sense, lapses in concentration and odd mistakes.

lol if Vermarlen actually goes to United, the guy is alright, I suppose but he seems more suited to Barca

Herrera and Shaw are/will be great signings.
De Jong will be a good short term fix and improvement on what we have to play as a Defensive mid at the moment.
Vermaelen is the only player who I don't really want.
Shaw's an improvement over Evra imo.
Vermaelen is worse than Vidic.

The article just states that nearly every top club is interested in Reus (what a suprise) and that Arsenal would have the money.
Allthough the main intention is to elaborate why Bayern is trying to tease Dortmund, they're still salty that Reus chose Dortmund instead of Bayern.

Yeah, I don't really believe Arsenal are gonna get him, it's just nice to dream. Also, I think he'll most likely go to Barca or Real in the next few years, seems like a logical decision really (maybe to replace Ronaldo?)
