all my puzzles had been complete for a month or two now, desperately needed a new one :lol

even better that it's Mega Man

There's a new Puzzle Swap puzzle? Damn it, I was supposed to complete all of my unfinished ones at a con this weekend. At least its MegaMan.

So I'm playing Earthbound on the WiiU and having problems on this one fight and my brother says "use PK Fire or Thunder or something, Ness must know one of them this early in the game"

He was kind of surprised that not only are spells "PSI" instead of PK, but also that Ness learns nothing he uses in Smash. He wondered why the heck they made Ness in Smash not do anything Ness actually does.

How does Ness not have PK Rockin' in Smash Bros? lol
Like... it wasn't even his Final Smash...

Only tangentially Smash related, but this just arrived on my 3DS about 30 minutes ago, keeping Nintendo's Mega Man love going. :)

I absolutely fucking love that Nintendo has pretty much become Mega Man's unofficial second home. <3

EDIT: AND Mega Man 5 comes out on the Wii U Virtual Console today... and last week it was Mega Man Battle Network's turn! Between all this and the Smash love, it's a good time to be a fan. :D
Agreed!

Sorry that this is late (sleep happened), but the Thread Title Poll was close enough that I'm going to do a runoff vote. QUOTE TO REVEAL LINK!!!

i'm willing to shulk to bet that pauline and toon zelda aren't getting in like that one guy thought a couple dozen pages back

For me, at least, the strength of Prime's lore isn't in its detail or depth, but rather its breadth. While the 2D games and Other M endlessly re-iterate the GF and Space Pirates with occasional references to the Chozo, Prime can just allude to a sentient global gaseous exterminator virus in an offhand comment, and while it isn't explored, it serves to make its universe a little larger. The prophecies of the Chozo, lamentations of the Luminoth and pirate research form a consistent tonal backdrop which serves to give personality and context to your actions and surroundings, which when combined with the wider universe you get glimpses of through mentions of Ylla, N'kren, High Command and such, the overall effect is fairly cohesive and strong even if constructed from individually shallow snippets.

I like you.

Just tipped the scales...

Welcome to my life, I hope you enjoy your stay.

You realize that if Beelzebufo was right, then the top two vote getters of the last poll wouldn't be Takamaru-related titles, right?
I am right, it's just people make really bad choices.

I mean think about it... There's a very real possibility that we get a veteran in the next week, and we'll be stuck with a already dated Takamaru reference. This is the worst title since the time we used a Xenoblade reference to celebrate Robin's reveal. At least even with that one we still have a Shulk reveal to look forward to (possibly) at some point, so it's not completely terrible and misguided like this one is.
