I think Cissokho will do fine for Villa. Wasn't good enough for Liverpool, but over the course of the season he ended up a relatively competent defender.

Plus you get the prospect of another Cissokho season review.

Brøndby hahahahahahahahahha

Fucking hell, we don't need these idiots in Europe every year. So fucking clueless. Meanwhile we celebrate being in Europe for the 9th time in a row.

Bayern are the club in the top 10 with the most home grown players if I'm not mistaken. But I agree about Pep and the management in general, specially this last round with Rummenigge talking shit about Reus' release clause was terrible. Pep has always been a massive cunt so there are no surprises there.

I don't think we should worry that much about the team under Pep, tho, even thought he isn't half as good as Heynckes at least he is good at promoting youngsters (specially midfielders) so in the long run it will do us good. Kind of like LvG, we were much better after he had left but he gave us so much.

Dortmund are a great team, basically thanks to Klopp and that's it. Their homegrown players are Großkreutz and like 2 other guys nobody gives a shit about. The difference is they buy unknown or not so known players for cheap and then Klopp improves them, but if you're looking for a club with serious focus on homegrown talent and a great academy then Schalke is the only right answer (somehow).

#fuckpep
Pls ESLK.
Dortmund U17 just won the cup.

Besides, it's not a static flow of talents.
Schalke got some pretty talented folks now, Mainz had them 2-3 years ago.
It's an ongoing and changing process, where even teams like Bayern with a great youth system can fail.

And let's not forget, there arent many clubs who can provide good match practice for those who're out of the youth.
Only Dortmund,Stuttgart, and Mainz are in the 3rd league, which is a massive improvement to the 4th.

Why haven't the FA sent out a directive to prevent keepers coming off their line on penalties?

With changes like goal-line tech and vanishing spray coming into play, that seems like such an easy thing to fix

All you need is for one linesman to watch the keeper, one to watch the edge of the box for encroachment, and the ref to watch the penalty being taken. Only slight issue would be the linesman watching the keeper could perhaps judge that he's left his line, even if he took a step or two after the ball had been kicked

edit: Go to sleep Hitch

Here's a thought, use the vanishing spray on the line and tell the 'keeper he can't come off it. That should do it!

Whoever that Notts County fan is, your lot signed Gary Jones today

Jonah is a fecking legend, one the best pros I've seen where a city shirt. Hope he does well for you

Been more impressed with Ntcham. Looks to have great technique for someone so big, similar to Pogba.

Ntcham and Fofana = French dynamite duo.

I can't find a stream that works on my phone so I'm not watching. How has Pozo looked? He's been really hampered by injuries for the past 18 months or so.

I watched the first 10 mins or so before getting distracted! He was lively then.

I forget Borini still plays for us

The idiot is risking ruining his own career if he doesn't just join Sunderland

edit: Scottish football :lol

They need Rangers.
