His eyes look so dead in both, like he's seen his future... the next David Bentley. I hope he gets a wage at Spurs

Bentley was on Talksport talking about his retirement and when asked if he woudl miss it said "Ive already conquered football, that chapter is done".

Jack cant live up to that.

His statement wasn't nearly as bad as people made it out to be. Your comparison really doesn't hold up, especially given that Bundesliga as a whole hasn't really progressed as spectacularly (internationally, as he later explained) as some like to claim, even if there's good reasons for that. That said there have been a few Bundesliga clubs with good budgets that have utterly sucked for years. Remember when HSV had a revenue (according to spox) of €130m?

I get what you're saying, but training was never the issue nor part a bigger problem.

Every club that played in the CL/EL nearly had some major structure/management problems.

First of all, let's start to take out clubs that are doing so damn well over the last years.
Mainz really shined over the last years and had some amazing talents, like many clubs they're selling these players sadly.
Imagine what would have happened if they kept someone like Schürrle, Holtby and so on.
Same goes for Freiburg and other clubs.

Hamburg is just pure chaos, the entire clubs has been run by idiots for years.
They never had a coach with a clear philosphy that was really backed by the club, they utterly failed to integrate talented players.
And they bought alot of former stars, that were never able to get back in shape like Van der Vaart.

Bremen is another example.
The odyssey for a decent LB at Bremen is now running for nearly 10 years or more...
They sold talented players like Özil,Mertesacker and many more and signed some random brazilian players without a proper strategy.
The scouts as well as the management and Schaaf failed.

Leverkusen is rather exceptional.
Allthough they're doing so well in the league, they can't bring that level against an international team.
Even with proper coaches like Heynckes they struggled.

Wolfsburg is a joke.
They can pump so much money into the club and they still fail.
Holding on to Magath was one major example why the club is such an utter mess.
I never thought that highly of Magath.
When they won the league they really had luck with some players they bought, plus Bayern was a mess back then.
Magath never managed to be so lucky again and his scouting was essentially shitty, as we saw with Schlacke and him.
Now they've got a coach that is more or less someone that could easily manage a midtable club with alot of talents, but is never the person to live up to international football.

Schalke.
Tönnies is a cunt, not only with his private buisness (I live relatively close by and know alot of stories about Tönnis meat...) but with his decisions as well.
Magath,Stevens and many more weird decisions.
And let's not forget that horrifying management quality that settles the contracts.
I can't believe how much money they're still playing for alot of players or how much they payed for some of them (Albert Streit LOL).
I have to praise them though, they really established themselves internationally over the last few years.
If they work on getting the shitty players out and they're able to integrate those talented guys they have, they can get through the group stage on a constant level.

I'm really curious how Gladbach will do with Favre.
They really signed some good players and he's a good coach and Eberl is doing great work.

We are losing a very handsome man in Vermaelen though.

If Wenger doesn't replace him with an equally or more handsome CB I will never forgive him.

NEVER. FORGIVE.

The Zuculini move to Depor was a done deal, but Pellegrini stopped the operation. Fuck you Ingeniero, you utter fucking cunt. Mou was right about you.

When Jack ends up having a season like Ramsey who do Arsenal fans turn on next?

Probably Ox.

I'll get us started.

Ox is shit. It's make or break.

Good/Bad thing? LVG not bringing his own chaps a bad thing or doing the Ajax method of having people with United DNA there far more beneficial

---

Side note, the latest episode of Utopia...................FUCKING FUCK

I don't think his job was ever in jeopardy because he was the assistant to Warren Joyce for the reserve team and has been for the past 2 seasons I think. Scholes was never an official coach for the youth teams and Phil was only brought to United in the Moyes era.

So he's stuck with the train man, too good for the u21 and reserves, but can't break into 1st team. he'll get a loan move, but will he be a starter at even a bottom tier premier league club?

Wouldn't be so sure about that yet. I agree u21 level isn't going to be of massive benefit to him but he hasn't played a full year at that level yet so there is no massive urgency.

I think there is a fair chance he gets some first team minutes this season anyway, especially if Hernandez is sold as is expected.

guess I'm late to this but oddmorsel got banned? what for?

Sarcastic aggression or some stupid shit.

Who is turning on Wilshere? I'd say more people are turning on Giroud (which is stupid; he did great last season with no support)

He is a good player; he just hasn't grown up/matured as fast as I expected. He wont be in the first XI this season.

Also, Ox is a beast and will be the breakout this season.

Burnley wanted him and have been watching him since last season. Not sure what the plan is for him. Could stay with United for half a season and then get loaned out.

.

Sometimes a player that does that well for the reserves at 18 years old is ready for the PL. Januzaj only played 4-5 months with the reserves before playing with the first team. Though it's a bit harder for a striker as strikers need end product. Januzaj didn't need end product as he can affect the matches in other ways. Same with Sterling in his first season.

OK, now I'm finally getting round to watching The Grand Budapest Hotel. The Last of Us multiplayer been taking up too much of my spare time.

There is no way that Per and Kos wont get injured at some point. Probably some of the other world cup guys too - notably Ozil, Giroud.

Right. That is why I am hoping for a good run where everyone stays healthy.

Any by good run I mean a month or so.

Make or break year for Shad.

Mid February collapse will be met with "SHAD OUT" chants at Emirates.

I can't see us wanting Cuadrado, not at the quoted price. Doesn't seem to be a desperate enough need in the squad.

I'll be pissed if we sign big money wide players.

Also if Wooders tries to suggest that Herrera was our midfield reinforcement so we should chill out.

Haha.

Walcott back next month. Gonna be great with Theo, Alexis, Özil and Ramsey all playing together.

And of course what will prove to be the best signing Calum Chambers.

I give it one training session with Walcott before Sanchez realises he has made a mistake.

The best think about the Sanchez signing is that it will show you Theo lovers how limited he is.

Arsenal fans will find Sanchez frustrating at times.

Theo is good at what he does and we are better with him on the pitch.

I have said it before and I will say it again. Theo is juat like me with FIFA. Hold down sprint but eventually run out of play or run into a defender and lose the ball.

I feel sorry for you Arsebros. You really should try watching some good wingers/inside forwards play.

Another awful post. This rubbish from you who blindly praises Gnabry.
