You know how us United fans here for the most part love the hate we get and thrive off it?

This fucking Miami thread in OT is fueling me to the point where I feel like I got super anti-hater powers.

The amount of NaCl and hyperbole pouring out is god-like.

Dem's fighting words, Jacky boy.

Misleading headline imo.

Marcos Rojo just followed United, RVP and Adnan on Instagram.

I love these kinds of shit turning into rumors

Just means RVP and Adnan are coming to Saints.

Not too sold on Rojo, hear mixed reports about him as a CB but was balling for the Argies at LB.

I'd take that opening day. (Hang tight my man Wilbz, formation crew)

If only Chelsea had the morality to let trash like Cleverley and Welbeck play at Chelsea, just because they had been at the club since they were young. The worst that will happen is they get loaned out for a couple of years to play, and then if not good enough sold... Or turn into Courtois like quality and still play for Chelsea.

Are we still doing the Welbeck is crap thing? 2012 called, they want their sweeping football thoughts back.

The point is there is no chance an english youngster at Chelsea/City has any real prospects of getting first team football at that club.

The best thing that can happen is they get loaned out and leave sharpish

But hey we've danced this dance before. People that complain about England doing shoddy (probably not most of the Chelsea/City fans on here in fairness) can't be the same who'd rather have Van Ginkel and De Bruyne getting minutes ahead of Chalobah etc

Which World class Englishman has come out of Utd in the last 5 years?

I would fucking love it if we played Chalobah every game this season. But i'll settle for him going on loan to Burnley, will be a great move for him if he actual gets games, hopefully he does good then comes back to us.

Future captain right there

Of the reserves

Name me anywhere that's produced a world class englishman in the last five years, what a moot point

Man United do give Salford lads a chance in fairness. Haven't produced near enough quality players for a club of that size and the amount of youth talent they stockpile from other clubs, but in comparison to other clubs United shouldn't have that many fingers pointed at them. I'm sure all United fans would rather see Manc lads play for their team ahead of foreign kids.

Diaby picked up a hip injury?

KuGsj.gif

Think it happened in literally the first game he played for Arsenal (a week or so ago) this season. I remember it being mentioned back then. It's really quite stunning.

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty soundtrack is too good.

(this might be my first time using one of these things -- this one is probably my favorite)

Misleading headline imo.

Reminds me of goal.com articles.

Article: "Robinho: I am god"

Click article. What he says: I am being treated like some sort of god here.

Comments: angry religious people who didn't read article blasting Robinho for saying he is god.

Lol

I remember when they has to apologise for doing a fake Wayne Rooney AMA....

Everton. ;)

Look where playing average Englishmen (at best) has got ya. The only team that can be proud of their youth academy in the Prem is, Southampton.

Yea, those are the only two young players who have come up through MU. Great one.

The truth never gets old. He's not anything near to the level United players should have, if he wasn't English and from Manchester he would have been thrown out a long time ago.

To the rest of your post, I really don't care about their nationality. I think it's silly to Imply young English players has a lesser chance than young foreign players at Chelsea and City, it's the talent and their mentality that isn't right, a bunch of quitters without the hunger for success as many of those players growing up poor without much hope for the future other than football. Englands national team can crash and burn for all I care though, it's great fun.

It's about getting a chance.

City and Chelsea by and large aren't willing to do that with English players - they don't have an interest in it because it's not part of the culture of philosophy of the club.

Chelsea haven't been too bad over the years although they could have easily done alot more. City aren't interested at all as of yet.

Real Madrid 2014-2015 captains.

1st - Casillas
2nd - Ramos
3rd - Marcelo
4th - Pepe
5th - Cristiano

marcelo and pepe.......

Their next tweet is more interesting:

Most shirts sold in the 2013/2014 season. [calcionews24]
Rooney: 1,5 million
Cristiano: 1,4m
Messi: 1,4m
Torres: 1m

What child watches Torres miss open goals for Chelsea and wants his name of their shirt? That kid will get bullied in school.

Richards and Shaun Wright Phillips had the potential to be great IMO.

I didn't say that. But lets count, who else? Are we going to count players, who were young, but also came for (at the time) crazy money like Rooney? Or the great Evans who (i think?) is from the United academy?

This might be the funniest thing I've read on this forum in a long time

Why would they? They don't have the fucking balls that's what they don't. It makes no sense for Chelsea or City to give a bigger chance to foreign players, if anything it should be in favor of the English players due to the rules.

Fernando has been The Octopus for 6 years. Biscuits was probably still cleaning Yaya Toure's boots at that point.

Nobody knew fernandinho 6 years ago mate.

The real Octopus, Busquets, was officially named the Octopus in 2009 when he won the treble, not while playing in an irrelevant league like fernandinho.

calcionews24 is full of shit or this Twitter account did a real shit job at interpreting the original story. Madrid as a TEAM sold 1.4m shirts last season, Ronaldo more than half of them. I would imagine that all of those are for their entire teams and the player is the highest seller per team.

Fernando ain't Fernandinho, friend. Fernando is the one who has the nickname "The Octopus." He got the nickname for shutting down United in a Champions League match for Porto.

It's not just an English player thing anyway. City and Chelsea don't seem to want to use their academy at all. Which is weird especially in the case of Chelsea because they have a very very good one.
