Next up the contract.

This Fernando lad is bang average.

Didn't he cost like £30 million?

Christ I'm almost excited for the City game in two weeks.

Lovren and Skrtel will bag a brace each.

The Etihead.

Didn't watch the second half, but I hope City keeps that first half form in the league lol.

I switched over to watch Copenhagen instead. We are getting destroyed by actual amateurs.

I want to die.

What did I tell you's? Chambers is class. 16m is a great price.

Have you watched this game? Chambers has been beaten one-on-one a couple of times as well as given up possession easily. He's looked good overall, but with the caveat "for a 19 year old." He is not ready to be second choice centre-back.

Well done Arsenal

City were basically holding an auction for Richards etc in the second half

Look guys, we still have these players

Please buy them!

I'll leave you guys with the usurper

If course I've watched the game. I never said he's perfect but he is class just the same. Kos and Merte get beaten in one-on-ones as well and Chambers will only improve with the experience which is what I've always says. I don't expect him to play like he's Mats Hummels.

Great start to the season.

Dailymail has an article on Costa...

When Diego Costa clattered into a post as he scored against Getafe last season there was a collective holding of breath among Atletico Madrid and Spain fans at the sight of him being taken off on a stretcher.

While they worried, he had his phone out in the dressing room filming medical staff filling the bone-deep wound in his right knee with antiseptic and stapling it back together again. He sent the video to friends to reassure them his season was far from over.
.....

It was there [in the 'alcohol fueled' informal street games] that Diego developed the ‘elbows permanently out' style that would get him in so much trouble in Spain. ‘If anyone touched me I would react,' he said. Having never attended one of Brazil's many club-affiliated football schools as a youngster, the street fighter approach had never been tamed.

‘There are some things you should not do in a game,' he said. ‘But there are other things that are normal when you consider how much is at stake in a big match.'

Really wish we would over-celebrate this.

Champagne showers, Shz selfies, etc. The works.

Ramsey - “The atmosphere at the training ground the best since I’ve been at Arsenal.”
